I am a wedding and events photographer who has been established for more than 20 years within the industry.
An initial period of creating a cliental in the London social and events field I have since moved to the pleasant Suffolk surroundings and created an extensive portfolio from the hundreds of weddings and occasions I have since photographed.
My passion with the camera has produced what I would hope is a captivating and creative collection of pictures that strongly document each event that I attend.
My easy going and pleasant nature means I largely photograph in a candid and informal manner which allows yourselves and your guests to enjoy the special day without any extra un-wanted distractions.
Whilst it is important to include the necessary formal pictures, I am generally very discreet and like to see the wedding or occasion unfold.
It is such a privilege and pleasure to be part of a couple's wedding and to record and preserve both the extraordinary special moments that define the day.
I like to photograph the guests almost as much as the couple. These days there are not many occasions when all your friends and family are together at the same time, a wedding allows for such an opportunity. I like to see and record the joyous expressions, fun and laughter which this important day provides.
My experience over the years has allowed me to work in some distinguished locations and unique venues from Royal engagements to intimate gatherings and everything in-between.
Although my coverage is the East of England and London area, I additionally photograph in other parts of the UK as well as for wedding event agencies in Europe.
The photography packages I offer are extremely competitive and hopefully fit the budgets in these difficult times.
Whether a full day, half day or just a couple of hours I am happy to adapt and cooperate with the requirements you need for your wedding day, party or event.
What follows will be a comprehensive coverage of how ever long you wish me to be photographing, and a detailed process and editing of your pictures provided in hi-resolution.
The usual turnaround time is a couple of weeks (or quicker for extreme circumstances) with all your edited pictures made available in an online gallery and permanently on a USB drive.
If you do proceed to book there is a small deposit fee to pay to confirm with the remaining amount not required until delivery of your pictures after your special day.
I am always available to ask the nitty gritty questions beforehand regarding the photography I do or if you have any particular ideas in mind. I am open to suggestions.
Organising a wedding or function can always be stressful and longwinded, I know from experience! I would hope that my photography at your event will be a least one area of assurance that you won't need to worry about.
We booked David for our wedding in February, that was then cancelled due to lockdown, however he was happy for us to re-arrange the booking as and when we could.
On the day of the wedding, David turned up early to scout out the church and how to position himself as the ceremony unfolded. He also took many pre-event images, which was really great as there were some good shots of us getting ready which do make us smile.
Lots of really great shots were taken during the wedding, really capturing the moments, and our emotions.
Outside as we were leaving the church, there were photos were taken of all those involved, including a whole group one. The weather was not great, but the shots he took really were.
David and us then went to the local beach to take a few more shots which we think are very special, so we are grateful for that.
We would highly recommend David, he is not only a great photographer, but really amiable person, who we are looking forward to having back at our post-lockdown wedding party hopefully this summer.

I offer a 3-4hr, half day or full day package for weddings. For parties and events there are less than 3hrs and more than 3hrs to choose from.
The wedding packages include all your pictures carefully edited and processed, before being presented in hi-resolution on a gallery online and a USB stick.

My photography is generally unobtrusive and informal and will document your day.
If you don't wish to do this yourselves with the hi-resolution files I can produce a bespoke photobook album of a selection of your pictures. I am also happy to offer a professional print service if required. Both of these requests can be decided upon after your wedding or event day.

I ask for a £50 non-returnable deposit before the day of the event, the remaining outstanding payment is invoiced on delivery of photographs afterwards.
