"Alex and co catered for a baby shower BBQ and were professional and friendly from start to finish. Alex accommodated vegetarians and children among the guests and everybody at the event were extremely complimentary about the food.

The food was delicious, classic BBQ dishes with homemade salads and non alcoholic drinks, individual Eaton messes. The added bonus was the provision of cutlery, plates and cups, so all stress associated with doing your own event was lifted and everything just ‘ happened’ seamlessly.

I will hire TheCatermen in future and will recommend them to family and friends. Well done Alex"

We booked with The Catermen for my mum’s 75th birthday. It was to be a small gathering of family and we wanted to spoil her by having someone else cook for us all. We were a little concerned initially as my mum can be a little fussy about her food. Alex could not have been more helpful with this and tailored a menu specifically to meet my mum’s needs with no change too much trouble. The food was absolutely outstanding, the help and advice that he provided during the planning stages of the event was invaluable. I can’t speak highly enough of the quality of service that The Catermen provided. If there were 6 stars I’d give them! Thank you so much for making my mum’s birthday so special.

Delicious canapés; inventive starter and top-class food all round. As close to a 5* restaurant experience as you can get at home.

From the outset the communication and service was great. The Catermen were a new company for us to try, so I was a little apprehensive. That soon disappeared when the food arrived. Really well set out, fantastic looking and tasted just as good. Definitely worth booking, and we will again.

Was exactly as promised. Everything high quality and could leave them to get on while I ran the other elements of the conference event. Not a bad word to say.

Wonderful afternoon for our daughters birthday. All the family enjoyed the food and our garden smelled so beautiful that neighbours even commented afterwards. Amazing lunch especially the fish!

Excellent dinner party food- four courses all on time and piping hot. Really impressive designs on the plate and had a few friends taking photos at the table. Didn’t have to lift a finger and kitchen was cleaner than when we started.

Thanks for making our festival themed barbecue extra magical! Alex and his team were full of energy and were a real addition to the event- and that’s before mentioning the food! Perfectly cooked using their special chef techniques meant that in the day everyone could enjoy their food really quickly and super delicious too. The staff at TheCatermen were all friendly, delivered the buffet on time and everyone enjoyed the food. Perfect amount as didn’t want any left over but plenty to go around and everyone had as much as they wanted. Kids options a real bonus, thanks for sorting it all out.

Alex and Aaron were punctual, very friendly with all the staff and customers. The potato salad and coleslaw was home made and the burgers and sausages were just perfect. We would highly recommend them.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for providing such a delicious BBQ last night. I can only comment on the vegetarian options but they were all delicious and I'm regretting not bringing all the left over potatoes back to Manchester for my lunch. We had great feedback from all our guests and Craig, our Director of Bruntwood Leeds, was very happy. We really appreciate you stepping in at the last minute and pulling it all together with such short notice.

"Alex is without a doubt a very talented chef but also a very nice person to be around aswell. He was able to adapt a 9 course tasting menu to meet our allergy needs and the food that arrived was faultless. Each course was well timed giving the feel you were in an actual restaurant, the ingredients used where of a high quality and his ability to work clean, tidy and professional in a very small, hot and dark room was very impressive. Highly recommend Alex to anyone, if I'm in the area again will defiantly be the first on my call list for a dinner party. Cheers for a great night made extra special by your hospitality!
