If you’re looking for good photos but on a budget for family events, then take a look at my photo's to get a feel of my style it is a mix of classic and impromptu capturing the fun of a special day. I am friendly unobtrusive, I just like to hide behind the camera and capture the moment, but of course, will be guided by what you want from the day.
We booked Brian for a very special family event last weekend, and I’m so glad we did. Brian was responsive and professional from the moment I booked which meant I was able to focus on the event itself.
On the day he turned up nice and early, and immediately put us at our ease. As the guests arrived, he mingled seamlessly and nobody felt self-conscious about being photographed. In fact, it was almost the opposite. Brian’s presence added a bit of showbiz glamour, and everyone was keen to pose for the group photos.
I had no idea what we’d receive from Brian but within a couple of days, he emailed a fantastic gallery of about 150 photographs, which he organised thematically (so helpful). The photos were super, and I was able to email a link of the gallery to all the guests for them to download as necessary.
The whole thing was so professional, and exceeded my expectations. If you’re thinking of hiring a photographer, I’d say go for it, and I highly recommend using Brian Fry.

Brian is a fantastic photographer, all round lovely guy and very easy to deal with. He truly captured by 50th birthday bash, taking photos of the guests and the action on the night. Brian was fantastic throughout this booking. He was quick to respond to any messages before the event and answered all my questions over the phone when we talked about the finer details of the day. Brian is very relaxed and was completely open to suggestions as well as making his own. We had a great day and you barely noticed him there which to me is the sign of a great photographer. Brilliant and highly recommended. Brian blended in so well with the taking of his amazing photos, there were no uncomfortable or awkward moments at all, as in "the photographer is watching". We got exactly what we asked for, we got family photos before the event and then the photos of guests mingling and dancing, we got some super cute photos of our granddaughters on the bouncy castle as well as natural photos of them playing on the dance floor.
