We offer our unique Exclusive String Trio and Quintet to add sparkle and sophistication to your event
We are a unique line up of either 2 or 4 violins and bass.
The inclusion of the bass means that we can play a wide range of styles including classical, jazz and pop covers.
Our bass players use a slap bass technique when performing the jazz and pop numbers that gives a fantastic energy and atmosphere for your special event.
We offer all female or all male line ups.
All our players are highly trained and chosen for their outstanding musical ability and personal style.
We offer some matching dress options as you prefer.
We also provide state of the art sound systems and professional sound engineers meaning we can amplify our music should your event require. We also provide hand held microphones for any speeches you may be having.
Blue Topaz Exclusive Trio and Quintet perform music from a diverse and extensive bespoke repertoire ranging from Bach to the Black Eyed Peas.
We arrange all repertoire ourselves creating original versions of well known music. This also means we can arrange any piece on request no matter how unusual!
Our players have performed for high profile artists including Adele, Beyonce, Emeli Sande, Paloma Faith, Take That, Birdy, the late George Michael, The Script, Simply Red and Stormzy.
We have also performed for The Queen, Wembley Stadium, at Ronnie Scotts and alongside Jools Holland.
We travel anywhere in the UK and abroad.

How can event planners pay for your services?

How long do you play for?
We play sets of 45 minutes to one hour and to fit in with the timings of your event. Tell us what you need and we will make it happen!
Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes we have lighting, PA, instrument microphones, sound engineers. Everything is insured.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes we have public liability insurance and all our equipment is safety checked, insured and PAT tested.
How much space do you require?
Thi depends on the line up - For the Exclusive String Trio around 7 by 4 feet. For the Exclusive String Quintet around 10 by 5 feet.
My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?
Absolutely. We arrange all music ourselves so it's no problem to create a new arrangement of your favourite piece. Costs may apply. Please enquire with your choice.
How many breaks do you take? How long are they?
We take 10-15 mins break in each hour of performance however this can be flexible to fit in with your event timings.
