Blagdon Wharf BBQ

I would just like to thank Chris from Blagdon Wharf on our recent Staff event. From initial contact to execution I had continual discussions over dates, timings and menu choices. Chris took on the challenge with professionalism and even amended the menu to comply with our allergen restrictions. Nothing was too much trouble. Even the typical Devon weather didn’t stop him and adjustments were made to continue. The food choices were excellent especially the beef burgers from a local supplier and the Boerewors sausages. I would certainly recommend Blagdon Wharf if you are looking for a BBQ style catering experience.

Chris and his wonderful helper (Josie) were AWESOME! The food was amazing, the service was so efficient and everyone was very happy! Successful event!

Firstly we would like to say thank you to Blagdon Wharf BBQ for catering our Staff Party for NHS. The star of the show was undoubtedly the mouth-watering BBQ spread. From tender chicken to juicy steak burgers, the Grill Master Chris truly showcased his skills. The meats were cooked to perfection, with everyone giving a positive comment. The SA sausage had a delectable blend of flavours and a choice of various sauces to tantalize the taste buds. The sides, including coleslaw, pasta salads, and roasted potatoes, complemented the meats well. The selection of vegetarian options was great from the Asian burger, Vegan sausage and spread of salads defiantly catered to all dietary preferences. Kind Regards Lesley

We hired Blagdon Wharf BBQ to do a casual bbq the day after our wedding and they were amazing - excellent food, really professional set-up, so friendly and so relaxed. They made everything happen so smoothly and were accommodating of all our requests. The chicken in particular was just brilliant - really tender meat, with the skin beautifully crisped and almost caramelised. They came through at a week’s notice after another caterer dropped out and ended up being a real upgrade. Honestly, such a lifesaver… Also, I can’t emphasise how easy Chris made everything. Excellent. Blagdon Wharf BBQ catered for a big party we recently hosted at home. We had 150 guests and they were awesome from start to finish. Friendly, professional, with excellent food from the steak burgers and chicken, to the wonderful salad package they provided too. Nothing was too much trouble and Chris talked through everything with us to ensure we had everything required. The guests loved the food and Chris is so friendly and passionate, you can't go wrong if you choose them to cater for you. We highly recommend them and you can even go to the farm shop and try them for yourselves 🙂
