Born in a cave and raised by meerkats, Andy started drawing at a very early age. After years of doodling on the walls of their cave, his parents (now quite old in meerkat years) sent him off to school with his own kind in the hope that he would stop messing around with his pencil and become a doctor or something.
Sadly his parents hopes were dashed and career in the arts beckoned.
In 2002 Andy's talent secured him a place on StripSearch, a UK-based program designed to find and nurture young comic book illustrating talent. During this course he was mentored by comic book talents such as, John McCrea, Hunt Emerson and Jimmy Broxton. It's with Jimmy that Andy went on to create and run The British International Comic Show - which was the largest UK Comic Convention at the time attracting over 3000 visitors!
All the while Andy has been active in all area's of the creative sector. His talents have been used by the likes of IBM, Sky, Disney UK, and MANY more. He's Caricatured his way through Bars, Clubs, Weddings and Bar-Mitzvah's. he draws comics and storyboards, designs zany characters and teaches kids, big and small, how to draw!
He also likes to talk about himself in the third person and makes a mean carrot cake.

Andy was a great addition to our wedding. Every guest was desperate to have their caricature done and it’s fair to say none of them were disappointed. We were really impressed with the whole package and it was so nice to see how many people got their picture done with a constant flow keeping Andy very busy all night. I hired Andy for my wedding. In short, he was amazing! I didn't know what to expect however we spoke on the run up about anything and made alterations as necessary. And on the day he was great! Guests loved his work and he was never free (sorry Andy!)
He took to a space in my venue and worked away constantly. The drawings guests showed me were amazing and he was very accommodating to any of my requests including trying to draw a very over tired toddler who wouldn't sit still.
I would certainly recommend Andy for any event - he was great!

We invited Andy to our wedding reception to help entertain the guests so they could all go home with something unique with his caricature’s. Andy did not disappoint the guests all loved their caricatures and have said since what a brilliant keep sake to remember our wedding. To say the room was very hot and no aircon was working Andy still got through his drawings and made everyone's night amazing with his art work! best decision to be made now those who had come can now be reminded of the party and of course keep the brilliant drawings for themselves.
