Chef Eugen’s food was absolutely incredible! We were all blown away by what a fantastic meal we had. I would 10000% recommend!

The chef provided good quality food and a friendly service. We had a five course meal and the mains were much larger portions than expected. Chef arrived on time and the five courses were served on time and in good sequence. It should be noted that you are hiring a chef and not a catering company so once the final course is brought to the table the chef will leave. You will therefore be left with quite a lot of clearing up to do. Final course plates and cutlery, wine glasses, coffee and all the table ware. The quotation process did not work well. The initial quotation failed to mention that a variation in the main menu choice would result in extra costs and the requirement for a chef if more than eight persons were attending the experience. The chef did not know anything about the discount applied on the initial quotation. The communication between supplier and Poptop definitely needs improvement to avoid ‘surprises’ between original and final quotations!

Eugene was excellent and super helpful from start to finish. He helped adapt our food as we don’t eat pork and came in to the kitchen on the day and just started prepping and cooking. I didn’t have to step in or help he did it all. We had a lovely kind lady who helped serve all the food in to their dishes she then washed and dried all the items and put them away. It was excellent and I would defo recommend the bbq.

We had an amazing meal and great communication throughout. Highly recommend! Thank you Chef Eugen
