Amazing event from start to finish. It was for a proposal and Paul did not disappoint. Paul was in regular contact with me to arrange the booking. As soon Paul arrived he settled in and began to work his magic. We had three courses and we were never left waiting. Every meal was delicious and served to the highest quality and presentation. The night was already special but with Paul's presence it was taken to another level. I would definitely book him again.

Googled a private chef due to recommendations being extortionately priced. We went to the south coast for a family holiday and surprised my brother-in-law for his 40th birthday. It was a great surprise for him. The food was absolutely fantastic. Chef Paul cooked us a theee course meal, he even catered for our children, which they loved! He was very very nice, friendly and a fantastic chef. I would absolutely recommend him and use him again if I ever needed. He left the kitchen spotless too! Perfect. My brother-in-law said it was the best surprise. When you get to 40 it’s memories that make a birthday special and this certainly did! Thank you. I found poptop website great and easy to use.

It is the first time we have ever had a personal chef come to our home. When we booked the event we had no idea where the chef comes from. I was quite concerned by the distance Chef Paul Williams-Allen had to travel to our home (2.5 hours each way). Having said that he couldn't have been upbeat, positive, cheerful and respectful. He made my wife's birthday a real pleasure. Not only was Paul a pleasure to meet, he is an excellent chef and his steaks were a delight and new experience with the stones. The whole experience was wonderful and it was so easy to book the event. We wouldn't hesitate to use poptop again and couldn't recommend Paul highly enough.

The food was fabulous and exceeded our expectations. I can definitely recommend Paul and the lava stones to others. Paul cleaned everything up after the meal. I ordered the afternoon tea for an 80th birthday. The communication via WhatsApp was amazing. I received a photo of what was delivered and they turned up in a chefs uniform so everyone was amazed and delighted. Food was also lovely.

I ordered an afternoon tea for my elderly grandparents for one of their birthdays and they were utterly delighted with what arrived! I arranged everything with the owner through WhatsApp and he was incredibly helpful making sure that he took precautions when he made the delivery and stuck to social distancing! The afternoon tea itself was so huge that it lasted my grandparents several meals and they also commented on how it felt like they were out for a posh afternoon tea since the owner delivered it wearing clothing as if he was in a restaurant. I cannot thank A Star Hospitality enough for the service and product they have provided. It has made my grandparents week! Thank you again! The customer service was extremely friendly, polite and understanding, the communication was prompt, the food delivery was punctual, the meals were absolutely delicious and the portions were generous. Completely satisfied and very happy!
Paul was really prompt and responsive. Gave us lots of menu options to choose from. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Paul left the kitchen spotless, didn’t trouble us at all whilst he prepped and was kind enough to even take some photos for us too!
