I've been a professional DJ for 10 years and a musician for fifteen. My experience performing with a large variety of bands and DJ live set ups has given me a strong intuition about what keeps people on the dance floor. I would say my ability to read a crowd and play the right tunes in the moment is one of my greatest strengths and sets me apart from a lot of DJs who just follow a set playlist.
As a musician it also means if you need live music earlier on at your event I can offer that too reducing the amount of performers you need and reducing your costs. I bring a high level performance and equipment to every event I work at and I'm as enthusiastic now as I was at the beginning. My mission is clear to bring a smile to you and your guests faces all night and help make memories that'll last a life time.

I would like to say how delighted I was with Sheldon at my 70th Birthday Party. Sheldon arrived punctually to set everything up. Prior to the day he kept me in the loop regularly asking important questions about timings and selections. DJ Sheldon and Pure Tones Trio performed at our wedding and I couldn't recommend them enough. We picked them after seeing them at another wedding where they kept the dance floor packed the whole night and everyone had a blast. They are fun, entertaining and know what to play to keep the dance floor going. Their upbeat energy and interaction with the audience makes it such a fun night. I was a bit worried about arranging music for our wedding but from the first phone call with Sheldon I knew it'd be fine. He was very relaxed and really helpful and it all worked out brilliantly at our reception - everything from the music during the meal to the first dance to a special request for us leaving was perfect and the fact that the dance floor was so popular was very much down to his and the band's energy, enthusiasm and talent! You never know if people will be up for dancing but as soon as he invited couples to join us after the first dance it was packed and stayed packed for the rest of the evening. He even arranged some up lighters for us which really transformed the dance floor and everyone had such a good time, both the guests and the band because you could tell they were enjoying playing as well. We booked Sheldon as a compromise between having a band and a DJ at our wedding. Sheldon met with us beforehand to discuss what music we did (and didn’t) like, and to get an idea of how the event was due to run. On the day Sheldon took care of music from start to finish, playing our chosen tracks during the ceremony, performing some live songs to get the party started and DJ-ing until late to keep the dancing crowd happy. Sheldon performed at Laura’s and my wedding, in the south of France in May 2017. He played guitar, sang vocals and DJ-ed, for the duration of the festivities.
