We were absolutely thrilled with the string duo, Lucy and Arda, that performed at our wedding! From the start, they were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. They gladly performed two special songs that weren’t originally in their repertoire, and their arrangements were beautiful. They also worked closely with our synagogue’s cantor and rabbi to make sure the ceremony felt seamless and cohesive, which meant a lot to us. We had a very small, intimate wedding and were intentional about curating a personal and meaningful setlist. The duo really understood that and brought such warmth and elegance to every piece they played. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say, the music truly elevated the entire day. Booking through Poptop made the whole experience flawless and super easy. It definitely helped take some stress off our wedding planning. Highly recommend!

Perfect choice. Arrived early at the church as played a lovely selection of pieces for the waiting guests. The wedding entrance piece brought a tear to everyone's eye, even before we saw the bride. They left the church discretely to get to the reception venue and were playing when all the guests arrived. Perfect music choice to allow quiet reflection or conversation. Unique sound - 4 strings plus flute - and they has a large list of pieces to play if requested from films, jazz, light classical, pop and others. We had Clare de Lune, Summertime and Let It Go from Frozen amongst others. They looked the part and even did requests at the end. All-in-all a very enjoyable experience with good musicians and it was certainly good value-for-money.

So, I was looking for a string quartet for my proposal event and I saw and reviewed the Sonore String Quartet and was impressed by their fantastic reviews. I am here to add to those reviews, they were absolutely amazing!! Before I'd even confirmed the booking, I was in touch with Kathryn about the event and a tailored list of songs that I wanted for the proposal. She said that if they didn't know it, they'd obtain the sheet music for it so they could perform it, nothing was too much trouble. The payment transaction was a doddle and I was provided a copy of the invoice. Then, they liaised with the venue to establish their entry (a fair bit of sneaking around was required as to not give the game away!) and as we walked up the pathway towards the area booked out, oh, such sweet music! Luckily, my now fiancée didn't twig that they were there for her, allowing us to have time to pick the right moment to give myself a well earned knee ache! Sonore String Quartet brought such a degree of elegance and classiness to the event and made such beautiful music for all my family to enjoy. And to boot, they were absolute troopers on quite a blustery, cold day. They are a credit to their profession, book them, you definitely won't regret it, I certainly don't! I'll be having them at my wedding :)

Beautiful performances. I will never forgot starting to walk down the aisle to my favourite piece of music. Magenta strings provided everything I requested and were easy to liaise with. The music they provided for the drinks reception was beautiful and many guests commented. They were efficient, professional and helped make the day perfect. As musicians myself and many guests were string players, I would highly recommend.
