Indoor event at a village pub (Hillam) The evening is publicised as a Swing Night for fundraising. We are having an extensive buffet, cocktails etc and want a live singer or band to play. Ideally 2 sets of 45 minutes the first while people eat and mingle, the second for them to have a dance. We don't have a very large pub so 3 performers would be the maximum size.

We booked Kellermeister Oompah Band for our Golf Club Oktoberfest. They arrived on time and set up their equipment then got into their traditional Bavarian Costumes. The evening took off with a bang right from the start. The band was brilliant, thoroughly entertaining and very professional. They played traditional German bierkeller music and other popular music which was enjoyed throughout the performance. The audience participation was very funny and enjoyed by those who participated and more so by those who watched. I would highly recommend Kellermeister Oompah Band for a fun, energetic and highly entertaining evening. It was said by many "One of the best evenings at the club!" Danke schoen!

Presumably 1 is low and 5 is high? (I should like to offer the top score!) We booked Mariachi Rey for a wedding "oop North" to play after the ceremony and before the wedding breakfast. Having thought about that long pause you get at weddings between the photographer and the wedding breakfast, we decided to include something a little different that the guests would enjoy and that would help ease the day along. As we finished taking the photographs, right on cue, Mariachi Rey entered the function room to gasps of delight from the guests as the band went through their repertoire. It worked perfectly, the hour long performance bridged that awkward gap, all the guests made the most positive comments and the enthusiasm of the musicians was reflected in the guests' smiles and dancing. Having Mariachi Rey at the wedding was a delight and we would certainly book them again. We just need another wedding to sort out now!
