Words do not do justice in explaining just how incredible Stretto String Ensemble were. We booked them for my father's 60th birthday party as a surprise. Dan, who was our point of contact, was incredibly helpful from our initial booking, ensuring that we had all the music that we wanted and helping us to pull off the surprise element of the party. The quartet arrived in ample time to set up and were very efficient in quickly setting up before my dad noticed they were there! We asked for them to begin their set with The Godfather theme, my father's favourite piece, and when he heard their glorious playing through the hall and came in his eyes welled with tears! They played so beautifully, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house! They continued to play a range of music, all from a playlist we asked from their vast repertoire of music, and we had the best time. We danced to ABBA, waltzed to Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, and even had a spur of the moment 'Wheels on the Bus' for my 13 month old son. They were the heart of the party, and we were so impressed by their musicianship and professionalism. We will be hiring them again, again, again, and again! I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you again for making our year!

The string quartet were brilliant and added a real elegant touch to our day. Abi was on hand via email and phone in the run up to our wedding to discuss song choices and talk through recommendations which was really helpful. On the day the quartet played all of our ceremony songs and then played through our drinks reception. Everyone loved them and we were very pleased with the service we received.

Very talented musicians. Would happily recommend to anyone. These guys were the second music act of our evening and really helped to gently warm things up after a lovely calm and classical string quartet. I really felt that they read the atmosphere perfectly as the music felt just right for that point in the afternoon/evening. Very good indeed. A+

Amazing! Couldn't have asked for better! Played wonderfully for my ceremony, and throughout the drinks reception, all of my friends and family complemented how good they both were. Gareth kept in touch, and knew more about timings than I did, which made the whole thing easier to plan! If I was going to do it all again, I'd pick them over and over again! Not to mention the price is exceptional for the quality of what you get!

Echo Strings played my wedding ceremony and were absolutely fantastic. They were more than happy to learn a few of my fave songs that weren't on their playlist and their communication before the event was always helpful, friendly and professional. On the day, they surpassed our expectations - I've had so many guests comment on how beautifully they played and one of my favourite moments of my whole wedding is walking down the aisle whilst they played 'Halo' by Beyonce. Now I just need another big event so I have an excuse to book them again! Highly, highly recommended x
