Solo violin is so romantic and is perfectly suited to classical, folk, pop, film & show melodies. It is a perfect choice for a civil ceremony, a church or an outdoor wedding. The solo violin works beautifully for pop, classical, folk, religious, film and TV themes and showtunes.
Some popular choices for weddings currently include All of Me by Jon Legend, Ellie Goulding’s How Long Will I Love You, Perfect by Ed Sheeran; classic lovesongs such as I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You & When I Fall In Love; classical favourite Canon in D as well as more upbeat songs such as Home, Accidentally In Love and Marry You.
If you would like live music to continue through from your wedding ceremony to drinks reception, violin for weddings can also play for this part of your wedding day while photographs are taken and your guests enjoy drinks.
Solo violin is also available for proposals, anniversaries, receptions and dinner music, birthdays and other family celebrations.

Emma is a professional violinist based in Durham and has more than fifteen years experience of performing at many of the region's most prestigious wedding venues including Wynyard Hall, Middleton Lodge, Lumley Castle, Matfen Hall, Beamish Hall, Headlam Hall, Le Petit Chateau, Healey Barn and many more, as well as travelling further afield on request to play for weddings and special events.

I booked Violin for Weddings to play at my birthday party. We had 100 guests, many of whom were not familiar with Emma Fisk's music. They were enchanted with the quality of the playing, the repertoire and the originality of my choice for background music. Emma was certainly a huge hit. She was very professional- arriving in good time and offering to play two sets to fit in with the serving of the buffet. I left the choice of music up to her and it was perfect. Easy to listen to, very enjoyable - suitable for all tastes. She pitched it perfectly- people could listen but also chat to friends. The music complemented the evening, it didn't overshadow the night. I would certainly recommend Violins for Weddings for weddings and parties.

Emma and David were superb on our day. From the moment we first met them they were so professional, communication was superb and they answered any questions we had. They were flexible with the music we wanted playing and everyone we spoke to on the day said how much they enjoyed Emma and David's contribution. We couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you for sharing and contributing to our day.

"I have used Emma for a number of events including my mother in law's 70th last August. All our guests absolutely loved Emma and she was a great start to a fantastic evening. Emma is always so professional, prompt, smart and helps every event have such an elegant touch. I would definitely use Emma again in the future.

"We were absolutely delighted with the service provided to us for our Wedding Ceremony. From first point of contact Emma has been extremely quick to respond and has a great depth of experience, not just musically but with the finer details too that made it easy for us to know that this was exactly what we were after.
There was a vast repertoire to choose from and we were delighted that Emma had no problem catering for the more personal song choices we had for during our ceremony.
We had nothing to worry about once we had organised all the details.
On the day itself the performance was perfect! We had a friend of Emma's perform Guitar accompaniment (suggested by Emma) and with music meaning so much to us both, we were over the moon with what it added to our Ceremony.
We had numerous guests comment on how good the performance was and how nice a touch it was to have Emma & David performing in the room. There is something so personal and perfect about having a live performance; it sits high above the alternative.
If you are still trying to decide on whether this is what you are looking for, do not hesitate anymore, you won't regret it.
Once again thank you Emma & David for a magical performance that sits fondly in the memories of our perfect day."
