Valeria Kurbatova is a multi-award-winning London based harpist – specialising in both solo harp performances, ensemble playing and orchestral harp. She regularly plays for the likes of London Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Contemporary Orchestra and is also principal harpist in the London Electronic Orchestra.
Regularly performing at high profile events, Valeria has played for audiences ranging from HRH Prince of Wales to the Rolling Stones. Valeria’s radio and TV appearances include performances for BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, Classic FM, Russia Today TV, WNYC Radio and Kultura TV.
Valeria has a vast repertoire covering classical, popular, jazz, blues, rock, Bollywood, Disney and music from films and musicals. She is happy to arrange almost any piece of music or song you'd like if it's not already on her list. She can also perform as a duo and trio with the following instruments: violin, cello, viola, flute, soprano and tenor.
She has her own amplification system which is a great idea to have if your event is larger then 80 people.
