We recently hired The Rib Rack BBQ Catering Company for a corporate function with around 170 attendees, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Their food was absolutely fantastic and received high praise from our guests.

The team arrived well-prepared to handle all types of weather, ensuring our event ran smoothly regardless of the conditions. They were exceptionally easy to work with, making communication and coordination a breeze from start to finish.

We also greatly appreciated their ability to adapt the menu to accommodate our guests with dietary requirements, including providing halal options. This level of flexibility and attention to detail truly set them apart.

Rib Rack were great! Before the event they were helpful, patient with my questions and accommodating, especially as Pop Top had given them the wrong date and they suddenly had to come weeks earlier than expected. Fortunately for us they were available and Simon and Grace were absolute stars on the night. We had nothing but positive feedback on the food from everyone that came, including the veggies. Would recommend 100%.

The Rib Rack BBQ Company were amazing. Arrived on time. Set up in about 10 minutes. Cooked amazing food and served to my 30 guests. Everyone commented that the food was very tasty. Took all their rubbish away with them at the end. No washing up for me. I will definitely use them again.

The Rib Rack Co is amazing. Very professional, very friendly and helpful. The food is amazingly good and there was plenty to go round and more which they left in the fridge ! The meat was succulent and all the side dishes : stuffing, cole slaw , rice salad and more were delicious. It was a lovely day and thank you Rib Rack Co for making it extra special

Food was delicious and plenty for all. It took all of the catering hassle out of my party which meant I could relax and enjoy the party too. Only thing I’d say it the communication was a little sketchy at times but lovely team and great outcome.

Fantastic, very professional, food was lovely and good value for money.
We were a party of 30 people in total, mix of adults and children. We were staying away for a 50th birthday and didn’t want to attempt to cook for everyone.
Would definitely use again in future, highly recommended.

Amazing service & amazing food!
Everyone at our party was telling me how good the food was, the selection of food was varied as well. Even though they arrived slightly late (due to motorway accident) the food was still ready at the requested time. They were polite, friendly and cleaned everything up.
Cannot fault them and would definitely recommend!

Food was absolutely delicious. A tiny bit late getting there which gave me some concern and food was not cleared and taken away

The staff were helpful and flexible, there was a threat of rain, so rather than doing just a buffet they served the food on the tables to our guests.
The food itself was delicious, well cooked an the silence during the meal spoke volumes.
We would certainly consider them again for a function.

I hired the Rib Rack BBQ Company for my 40th birthday and wouldn’t hesitate to book them again. It was so hassle free from start to finish and Simon delivered an amazing service. Just want to say , this is a company I would fully recommend. Simon and his team were great . Arrived in plenty of time to set up a hog roast for my Birthday . Not only was the food delicious, everything was done with a smile on there face . If your looking for a hog roast or any other foods they may do , I fully recommend using them . There pricing was also a lot more reasonable, than other company’s . Everything was done superbly from 1st contact to serving the food . Jason. Epsom

Excellent food courteous staff and stress free

Delicious hog roast and salads, reliable service, friendly staff and very happy well fed party goers.

Staff were excellent and food was quite good value for money. Presentation of food was also good too.

We really enjoyed the food and service provided. However, there were some issues with communication both before and on the day.

Overall, good however 3 main areas of feedback:

Arrival time: was to be 11am, I had a phone call at 11.20am asking for my address as they only had a postcode. Finally arrived around 11.30. I found the 2 guys quite abrupt, but could have been language-related as English not first language

Service time: had agreed 13.15 with Simon Short, but the 2 guys who came on the day said they were told 12.30pm and that they could do 1-1.15pm at a push. In fact service wasn’t until 1.45pm as they weren’t ready

Quality of food: the food had been pre-cooked, and the brisket in particular was pretty impossible to cut (particularly with the flimsy knives/forks). A lot of the brisket was left at the end. I had thought food would be served in stages but all was served at once was allowed to go cold by the time you got to go back for any more.

I paid for a hog roast. When I called to check details in advance they said they’d finish cooking the half hog on my site. Instead, 2 guys turned up with some pork meat already cooked. The cracking was soggy and the meat tough. Would not recommend.

They were due to arrive at 1pm as stated in the “agreement “ there was no sign of them by 1.35 and I had to call twice before getting an answer to be told they were already here !
They did arrive 5 mins after that but my guest were already starting to arrive so they were bringing through their equipment with the guest arriving, the food was quickly put on the bbq once set up but I had vegetarian guests , which we’re supposed to be catered for with vegan burgers and halloumi but they were cooked on the same grill as the meat and the guy cooking just picked everything up with his fingers and crossed contaminated everything so my vegetarian guests only ate the salad that was provided, I was so embarrassed They rushed to get everything cooked as I had asked for service to be at 3pm it was done by 3.15 so not too late but they then asked me to move all the cooked food onto crockery of my own so they could leave which was around 3.45pm that then meant I had a lot of washing up to do which was part of the attraction of getting people in I didn’t have to do that !
It all seemed very rushed and unprofessional, really not worth the money we had spent. They then had the cheek to tell my husband that they usually get tipped around £10 but they don’t expect it I would never use them again

Had an email 2 days before my party to say they were cancelling due to Covid. Was promised a refund but nothing as yet, no reply to my emails.
