FAQs

  • What kind of events do you usually serve?

Weddings, Resturants, Theme Nights, Gin Nights, Cocktail Nights, Sunday Dinner Live Entertainment, Christmas Events, New Years Events, Funerals

  • Who are your previous clients?

Doncaster Woolmarket, Mount Pleasant, Ollerton Crematorium, The Townhouse Bawtry, Wedding Clients.

  • How long do you play for?

    2 hours or 45 minutes.

  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?

I have my own PA system, there is lighting on my Pa system which is bright but if you are planning to book for an event that has a disco/dance floor I would recommend getting something stronger (brighter).

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

I have Equity performers insurance. My equipment is brand new under a year old so as of yet it isn't PAT tested but if need be I can easily get it PAT tested for you.

  • How much space do you require?

6 x 6 ft of space it can be smaller if need be and can happily be bigger! As long as my equipment reaches the sockets and there isn't any feedback from my mic and PA system there wouldn't necessarily be a problem with space.

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

Of course I can! If it is something that I have on my repertoire list then there isn't a charge for it. If it is a song that isn't on my repertoire list then depending on the difficulty of the song and how long in advance you let me know there will either be a small charge or no charge for this extra service!

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

Depending on the set list or timing you book for this will alter. If my singing time is 2 x 45 minutes I would usually take a 15/20 minute break to rest my vocals, warm up a little more and have a drink to keep hydrated. If I sing for 3 x 30 minutes then I would usually take 10/15 minute breaks for the same reason. I try not to speak to people during my breaks to rest my vocals to keep them in top shape. But after the gig I will stay and speak to my customers and your customers and its lovely to speak to people about my background in singing and their personal stories and about songs ect.
