I'm not often called a genius but I was for booking Michael! Thankfully we had a relatively small party so he was able to draw everyone who wanted to be drawn (many more than shown here) but we would have booked him for another hour (or more) had that not been the case. Fully recommended (and has been already).
Michael, was a wonderful addition to our birthday party. It became a real talking point, with quite a demand building up for "portraits". Michael, was on-time, quietly worked in the background, flexible, and produced portraits that delighted and created memories. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michael and hope there will be another occasion when we are in need of his particular talent.

We hired MK Caricatures for our wedding and Michael was absolutely fantastic and went down a treat. He was polite, friendly, on time and very accommodating when we asked him to stay an extra hour as he was so popular with our guests. The caricatures were fantastic and he presented me and my husband with a framed caricature of us in our wedding outfits when he arrived. This will take pride of place in our home it absolutely stunning. My guests were coming up to me all night full of praise and he interacted with our guests brilliantly and was happy to approach them and mingle. The quality of the drawings is amazing. Thank you Michael for making our wedding so special. I would highly recommend him - you will not be disappointed.
Michael was brilliant- he made everyone feel at ease and was really adaptable to our obscure requests on the event day - It was super easy to brief Michael, attendees looked comfortable in his presence. We were more than happy leaving him to do his thing throughout the hours of the day and appreciated him drawing people from afar for individuals that did not request a drawing ( but more more than happy to accept the gift )
The team and I would highly recommend and of course would love to have him back for future events!

"Michael was unable to cover my event and alerted me on Friday, 9th of November in the evening and the event was for Saturday 10th! Before I could read the rest of his message, my heart was already pounding! I then read the rest of his message which I honestly couldn’t fault.
Michael explained that his event on Saturday, having only just realised when he returned from his travel would have meant he wouldn’t be able to get to my event on time. He then provided an excellent customer service which is why I have given a 5 rating by getting me a caricaturist, his friend to cover the event and also gave me a discount due to the inconvenience and to this I say a massive thank you to Michael. He arranged for someone (Francesco) to cover the event, passed on all details and assured me the person will make contact. I couldn’t fault that and and all I could pray for was for his replacement to deliver on the night and he did.
Francesco contacted me on the morning of the event, asked a few questions about the evening to get a feel for the party and how I wanted him to work and also paid attention to the dress code of it being a Black Tie Event and was dressed for the occasion.
I couldn’t fault Francesco as he engaged the guest throughout the evening from when he arrived. He was polite, professional, engaging, diligent and did a fantastic job. He engaged throughout and offered a different dimension and fun to the evening. Thank you very much to Michael and Francesco as we all had a great time and the guest have not stopped talking about Francesco and the way he interacted with everyone even when they were having their meals and how flexible he was.

"I highly recommend Michael at MK Caricatures. Michael was easy to contact, quick to respond and very flexible where possible (we had a last-minute time change!). Michael drew over 20 portraits for us and we were all extremely pleased with how they turned out. In addition to this, Michael printed a company logo and a birthday message on to the bottom of each sheet which gave it a lovely final touch and for only a small additional charge. Michael himself was very friendly and made everyone feel at ease - some were worried about feeling awkward whilst their portrait was being done, however, didn't feel this way at all.

We offer 4 different wedding packages. The STANDARD PACKAGE includes standard pen and ink caricatures. The SILVER PACKAGE includes standard pen and ink caricatures, personalised message printed on the paper and protective sleeves to keep the drawings safe. The GOLD PACKAGE includes standard pen and ink caricatures, personalised message printed on the paper and protective sleeves to keep the drawings safe and a colour caricature of the bride and groom drawn from photos before the wedding. The PLATINUM PACKAGE includes ipad caricatures, personalised message printed on the paper, caricatures are printed for the guests. Guests also get a digital copy emailed to them. A copy of everyone's caricature is sent to the bride and groom. A colour caricature of the bride and groom drawn from photos before the wedding.
I can create caricature place cards which your guests can take away as wedding favours at the end of the wedding.
