Formed in 2013, Mariachi Las Adelitas UK are an exclusive all female professional and completely authentic mariachi band.
They have played as far as the Mariachi Women's festival in L.A, NYE 2022 in the Maldives, count Salma Hayek among their fans, have been interviewed and received lots of airplay from Cerys Mathews on her hugely popular BBC6music show. Other past events include the premiere for Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall, the British, Mexican, and U.S Embassies, Disney, the Camden Roundhouse, headlining the Electric Brixton, The British museum and the V&A, to name a few.
A 7-piece band with 2 trumpets, 2 Violins, Guitar, Vihuela and Guitarron, 3 lead singers and tight vocal harmonies by the entire band, they can also play in smaller groups if required.
Members have many years of experience on their instruments and in the mariachi style, and also look great!
They have several different spectacular outfits handmade in Mexico, and clients may choose the theme which best suits their event.
They are available to play serenades as per the Mexican tradition, as well as festivals, cultural events and absolutely any kind of celebration. All of the mariachi classics are included in their repertoire, with some beautiful arrangements of well-known songs including classics in English arranged in authentic mariachi style, which means the band is truly versatile.
Travel is no problem, the band drives all over the UK and are happy to travel worldwide.
They can happily play completely acoustically, or with small amplifiers, which are provided at no extra cost. They also have a PA system available.
The band blew us and our guests away, they made our wedding. Passers by were stopping to film and watch, be our friends can't stop talking about the music

Simply fantastic - Anita and the crew were EXACTLY what our party needed. They arrived bang on time, were excellent communicators throughout and played two wonderful sets. The quality of the musicianship is superb and they even learned a song for us in advance. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Our company was launching our Tequila Lore Set and the ladies definitely made our evening more colourful. They were excellent and it was a complete surprise for our guests and everyone absolutely loved them. Las Adelitas set a great atmosphere for our evening. They played 2 sets between the courses and dessert and improvised a surprise birthday song for one of our guests. Very entertaining and highly recommended.

We went to see Mariachi Las Adelitas in Hastings after watching one Youtube video and they blew me (and everyone that saw them) away!! We followed them to three venues (in favour of other bands we'd gone to see) as the experience was too good to miss out on. The costumes, the charming introductions and the joie de vivre of their performances were all first class as were there choice of songs. I can't recommend them enough (even if you have no knowledge or interest in Mariachi) as they are the most refreshing and enjoyable band I have seen in some time. Can't wait to see them again.

I saw Las Adelitas mariachi band perform recently at The British Museum and thought they were a fantastic addition for the 'Day of the Dead' exhibition. Their sets were very popular and it was great that they could wander around the museum playing in different rooms whilst performing. Would love to see them again!
