JAJ's Bakers

We sell Stollen hamper for Christmas every year.
We are a home-based baking business based in Leicester who makes a variety of cakes and bakes for you to enjoy.

We are three siblings born in Munich, Germany whose parents originally came from a city called Jaffna in Sri Lanka. So our names are Jalesan, Ahrathy, and Jalaruty which is what JAJ in JAJ's Bakers stand for. We believe in family cooking and baking and enjoying a cake among your loved ones any time of the year.

Our late father, Kanthar Mahalingam worked in a bakery in Munich, Germany, and made a variety of bakes. He would bring Stollen home to us every Christmas and we savoured the Christmas festive vibes and soaked in the aroma of Stollen spice. This inspired us to introduce a business that makes a variety of bakes but also includes the sale of German Christmas Stollen in the UK. This takes us back to our childhood back in Germany and inspires us to bake many traditional bakes that other nations enjoy.
