Yes I can learn songs on request. I'm frequently asked to cover fast songs in a nice slow accapela style with either piano or guitar. If you still want me as a soloist for this I can record the backing music to save the cost of having two people
I don't have to take a break at all if you prefer. I usually take a break after the first set (45mins) for around 15-30 mins then start the second set but this can change from one event to the next.
