Hi my name is James Howe, I started as a commis chef in 2006 and have loved it ever since! I trained in a lovely 4 star hotel in Scarborough, North York’s & on to Michelin starred restaurant in the Yorkshire dales. I got my first head chef role when I turned 22 and put my stamp on the culinary map. In 2017 I moved in with my wife & started this business. Ever since I have gone from strength to strength. From a small catchment in Norfolk to National coverage and a growing team. Largely owed to my ‘philosophy’ – “British flavours, French Techniques, Yorkshire Portions”

I help you impress without the stress. Whether it’s a birthday party, hen night, anniversary, staff Christmas party or wedding. My team and I are here to make sure you have a fantastic meal that you can enjoy with your guests. I even do the washing up!

I travel all over mainland UK & occasional trips to Europe (I may ask for a bit of extra cash for the plane!). It doesn’t matter if its your home, a holiday let, manor house or the top of a tower block. If I have an address, I can get to you

You can book me for events any day of the week. Saturdays are for obvious reasons the most booked up, so if you are looking at a Saturday get in touch quick!
On the day I arrive 2-3 hours before service with all the food needed, my trusty bag of knives and anything extra you may have asked for. All the important stuff.

You’d book me because I have 300+ clients that would recommend me without hesitation. Including the celeb wing - including Dele Ali, Tom Jones, Idris Elba, Lorraine Kelly, Natalie Dormer and Claudia Schiffer and the entire teams from Oxford Women boat race, RAM endurance race & Yorkshire Cricket Team.

The team arrived promptly, well prepared and with plenty of hands on deck to ensure everything went smoothly.

Awesome food and really friendly, took care of everything and was really punctual! Great variety on the menu. Chef was really unobtrusive and worked quietly in the kitchen sorting everything out without asking us for anything. Left the place spotless afterwards.
Would definitely recommend and planning the next party already!

We booked James for a meal for 7 for my in laws' 40th anniversary. From start to finish it was simply wonderful, from him laying the table, serving the outstanding food to leaving the kitchen sparkling before he left. We genuinely cannot recommend him enough.

I have over a decade experience cooking in high-end restaurants and since 2017 have been cooking for intimate dinner parties all over the UK & Europe. I help you impress without the stress. Catering birthday party's, hen nights, anniversary's, staff Christmas party's or weddings. We are here to make sure you have a fantastic meal for you and your guests. I even wash up! You can book me for events any day of the week. Saturdays are for obvious reasons the most booked up, so get in touch quickly!     Yes, however some prep maybe done in a prep kitchen depending on menu
