Set List/Services

Whether it’s Irish (St.Patrick’s), Scottish (Burns Night/St. Andrew’s), English (St. George’s) or Americana, Bowstring offer a full evening’s entertainment of music for dancing or songs for listening or a mixture of both, whatever the venue, at any time of year and anywhere in the world, be it indoors or outdoors, a corporate function, wedding, barn dance, ceilidh, concert or festival. Bowstring have over 150 years experience between them (they all started at a very young age).

If you are looking for a professional, well-rehearsed band who will give them a special event tailored to their own requirements. The band might even learn a song especially for the occasion. For one particular client we learned a song in order to back his own singing. Another time we were asked to play “Galway Girl” by Steve Earle. Only one member of Bowstring knew it and he’d only learned it by osmosis. He taught it to us in the break and we played it. That’s professional, special and tailored to their own requirements.
