Gareth John
A man with a lifelong love of swing music, rhythm and blues, jazz and soul, Gareth has a wealth of experience both home and abroad as a professional trumpet player, educator, singer, entertainer and bandleader. As well as having shared the stage with members of The Specials, The Happy Mondays, Fun Lovin' Criminals and many more, he is also trumpet and flugelhorn player for The South (formerly The Beautiful South). He also runs a New Orleans style brass band with a modern twist, a funk and soul outfit and a reggae and ska band and performs hits from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and Louis Prima, right through to modern-day crooner Michael Buble, to make for a perfect classy atmosphere at any event. Singing with passion and style and a permanent smile on his face, he prides himself on audience interaction and putting on the best show possible and catering to the needs of the client and the audience alike. Gareth has also now become a renowned singer of swing, jazz, rock n roll, pop and R&B, fulfilling a long held dream formed from his Grandparents, with his Grandma singing jazz and swing as well as acting, and his Grandad giving him his first trumpet. He cites his influences as Louis Prima, Chet Baker, Matt Monro, Harry Connick Jr, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and of course, Michael Buble.
Suzanna Amey
A classically trained singer and violinist - Suzanna first discovered her love of music whilst listening to her mother playing piano and singing along with her dad in the car. From a family of dancers and musicians she knew she wanted to continue the family tradition and be on the stage; she has been performing since the tender age of 5 in countless musicals, orchestras and plays. Suzanna has always been driven to develop her passion for singing and to perform music by the artists that she truly loves; a chance meeting with Gareth presented the perfect opportunity and she can now be heard singing the likes of Carole King, Ella Fitzgerald, Katie Melua, Norah Jones, and Judy Garland to name just a few. Her passion and love for music is clear when she sings and she constantly strives to deliver an emotionally rich and polished vocal performance.
