  'ALIBI' is one of the country's leading party bands, with vast experience of entertaining audiences at all types of functions - both in the UK and abroad.

• What are the highlights of your career?

  The band has been booked for five consecutive occasions to perform at the prestigious New Year's Eve Ball at Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai. Bandleader and keyboardist Chris has played on a number of UK tours with international opera star Andrea Bocelli - taking in venues such as the London O2, MEN Arena, Manchester and SSE Hydro, Glasgow. Members of the band have worked with Shirley Bassey, Tony Hadley, Boney M, Cutting Crew.

• What is your competitive advantage (special features)?

  A choice of line ups from 4 to 10 piece mean that 'ALIBI' can provide the right size band to suit your particular event. Smaller combos in duo or trio format are also available for more intimate gatherings / smaller spaces. We can also provide background music for receptions and dinners. This could be a solo pianist, saxophone / piano duo, or a trio or quartet. A competitive 'package' price is offered to those who wish to book both our band for dancing and also musician(s) for a background set at the same event.

• What kind of events do you usually serve?

  The band regularly plays for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, anniversaries, retirement parties and bar mitzvahs / bat mitzvahs.

• Who are your previous clients?

  Jumeirah Hotels Dubai, Harold Benjamin Charity Ball, The Grove Hotel, Star Cargo, RAC Country Club Epsom, RAC Club Mall, Pinner Hill Golf Club, Wargrave Ball (and many more).

• How can event planners pay for your services?

  We suggest bank transfer as the easiest payment method.

• How long do you play for?

  We play for a maximum of 2 and a half hours. This can be divided into 2 or 3 sets. We provide pre recorded ipod playlists during band breaks.

• Do you have your own PA and lighting?

  Yes. We provide a state of the art PA system which can provide ample volume for rooms of up to 350 people. We also carry our own professional lighting set up for the band / stage area.

• Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

  Yes. We have Public Liability Insurance of 10 million pounds, and all our equipment is fully PAT tested

• How much space do you require?

  A minimum of 6 x 3 metres for our 4 piece line up.

• My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

  We have a vast repertoire of songs, and provide a sample list on this site. The band might well know your favourite song even if you do not see it listed - so it is always worth asking us. We are happy to learn a special tune for your celebration, such as a first dance at a wedding.

• How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

  If we play 2 sets in an evening, we take one break. If we play 3 sets, we take two breaks. The duration of the breaks depends on the time frame of the evening.
