Wow… what can I say? Alex was an absolute dream and really did tick every box! I was looking for a magician who could do close-up card magic for my dads birthday. I wanted a magician who could approach the different groups of guests rather than an all-eyes-on-me performance. I thought it would be a simple task to find someone, but it proved to be really difficult to find anyone within budget who could not only do close-up magic, but who was skilled, professional and approachable. A lot of those I found came across in their promo videos as either extremely cheesy/cringe or the total opposite - straight faced and completely unapproachable. I was about to give up hope but decided to have one last Google and that’s when I came across Alex. First of all, he was very responsive and asked all the right questions to make sure he could provide exactly what we wanted. He even asked if he could bring along his photographer who would provide us photos on email for free (I don’t think this was a standard procedure, we just got lucky!). You never know what to expect when you’ve never seen them live before and as “chief party planner” I was slightly anxious, but Alex was simply fantastic. He exceeded my expectations and managed to gel the different groups of guests together who wouldn’t otherwise have engaged with one another. Alex really played a vital role in making the party a success and blew the minds of everyone, from children to 80+ year olds! A real crowd pleaser, highly likeable, and a very skilled, reliable magician who goes above & beyond. If you’re still wondering whether to book him or not, multiple people contacted us for his details after the party to book him for theirs. For me, that was the most telling way to know I made the right choice in booking Alex!
Alex was great at our wedding; we managed to book him last minute after Covid scuppered some of our other plans. He was great at getting everything organised at the last minute with us. All of the guests loved him. He even went the extra mile and stuck around for a little longer for us so we got to see some of his magic when we got back from having our photos taken.

The answer would be yes most of the time, but please confirm with me before booking.
2 hours is the most popular option; however, I have performed for anywhere between 30 minutes and 4 hours before.
I specialise in card magic, but you will find me performing with a variety of other objects including coins, rubber bands, smartphones and even your minds!
While all my magic is kid friendly and I welcome everyone to participate, it is mostly targeted at an adult audience. Therefore, if you are considering booking me for a kids party, I recommend looking for a specialised kids entertainer instead.
There are no limits for the number of people at your event; however, to ensure the up-close personal magical experience for your guests, I usually perform to groups of up to 10 people at a time. So if you are expecting more than 60 attendees, I recommend booking me for at least 2 hours to make sure most of the guests get to experience a little bit of magic.
