Recent review: King Brasstards got our evening reception off to an immense start. They were a surprise to the rest of the wedding party and the entrance was phenomenal, as was the first dance song we'd requested. There were a couple of songs we hadn't requested, and they missed some that we had, but they were so brilliant that it really didn't matter - everyone was loving it and we had so many compliments on them afterwards too. The only constructive feedback I'd give is that it was quite hard to get a response in the planning and run-up period, but I know the band are incredibly busy and I clearly didn't have anything to worry about as they were total pros on the night. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

Recent review: The event was great. Monika and Blue Orchid were exactly what we required for a family party of mixed ages, teens to nineties. The sound was just right and the professionalism great. Choice of material was excellent and Monika has a wonderful voice. All our guests raved about the music.

Recent review: Daniel played piano and sang at my birthday party. The idea was that he would lead a singalong for the guests. He did this with aplomb and everyone had a fantastic time. We found Daniel easy to deal with in the run up to the event - he responded quickly and politely and he was very relaxed about the play list. Thank you Daniel - you made my party memorable for us all.

They were so good at reading the room and the tone of each part of the event. They had everyone up dancing! Amazing, definitely my swing/jazz band of choice for any future events. 😁😁

Jose made the booking process very easy and he was very careful to make sure we had the right kind of mix of instruments and singer to suit us. He sent a long and varied list of song choices. Requests were also encouraged. On the day the band were professional in every way from setting up to performing a whole beautiful range of songs. There was something to suit everyone.This band had just the right mix for us of jazzy, cool music while our guests wanted to eat and talk, but could turn up the volume and liven up the beat at just the right time for some dancing. Plus the band were such lovely guys - friendly and warm and had a great rapport with our guests. We have had great feedback from our guests about how great the band were. Recent review: Daniel and his London Swing & Soul Band played at our wedding last August. We spent absolutely ages looking for the right band, and we were losing heart, until we saw this band in action. Simply awesome. The most amazing repertoire, which was great for us because our guests ranged from 4 to 84, and there was something for everyone, even traditional Jewish wedding dances (which we wanted even though our wedding was not religious in any way). Daniel supplied a jazz trio for the daytime (which was excellent), he played keyboard during the actual ceremony (and it was beautiful), then we opted for an 8 piece band for the reception, which was fabulous. So many of our guests commented afterwards about how much they loved our band. Three of our guests are professional musicians themselves, one teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, and one is musical director for the Ritz hotel in London, and they both said the band was fantastic. PLUS ours was a same-sex wedding, and it was important for us to feel comfortable with everyone involved. Daniel is really lovely, and it was a pleasure to have him be such a big part of our perfect day. Thanks Daniel and The London Swing & Soul Band - absolutely, unreservedly recommended, we could not possibly fault you in any way, Sarah & Sabina xx
