Booked for Private party

Jonatan (John Valcas Art) is a really great character artist. I booked him for 3 hours as part of the entertainment for my birthday celebrations. I checked out his show case and decided from the reviews that he would be ideal for my event. It was based in London and I thought it would be a problem for him to travel to me but he said it was not an issue as he was used to travelling to various different areas. We had a Zoom call so that I could meet him before the event and decide on timing. On the day, he set up quickly, ready to start immediately. I found him a private spot outside on the terrace so that guests could sit out in comfort away from the dancing and have their portraits done. However, he is also used to drawing people on the go with dancing or other things going on, or sitting at their tables if no dedicated space is available. It was really popular with everyone. He managed to fit everybody in. We had so much fun with all of us showing friends and family the results. He went the extra mile and stayed on a bit later for me to have my own special picture done in colour. I would really recommend him to bring the fun element into any event.

Booked for Birthday party

Poptop gave me several caricature artist options for my birthday party, Sam Allen being one of them. I am so glad that I picked Sam as he is an absolutely lovely person who interacted brilliantly with all 15 of my guests, including the children. Great banter with the adults and super kind to my 8 year old grandaughter who loves drawing. Sam gave her one of his charcoal pencils to sketch with and she did a caricature of him (of sorts), which he took away and said he would keep :) Everyone loved him, he really made our afternoon party and I can't recommend him highly enough. I'd like to thank you Christine for making my 50th party extra special, my guest all loved you, well the ones that managed to sit in the chair. The seat was never empty, not sure how many you managed to do but there were some people that was kicking themselves as they missed the opertunity to get a drawing done. Dave is a fantastic caricaturist! He was extremely flexible to work around our wedding timings, easily contactable, guests had a fun time getting their portraits done (there were even queues). Unfortunately we were unable to get our portrait done on the day, so we requested Dave to do a drawing from photographs, which he did and sent to our home - we love it! Would 100% recommend, well worth it!
