This trio of likeminded musicians formed in early 2017, and have already made their mark with their upcoming group. Coming from projects of their own (TEYR, Crossharbour, Céilí Max), Tad Sargent (GUITAR, BOUZOUKI, BODHRAN, VOCALS), James Gavin (FIDDLE, GUITAR) and Dominic Henderson (UILLEANN PIPES, WHISTLES, VOCALS) blend their intrigue with new sounds with the old styles of the music they grew up with.
Born in London, Tad, James and Dominic having grown up playing on the session circuit as accomplished musicians in their own right, and also having taught extensively in their fields, now turn their heads towards hitting stages at events around the country with a new, exciting, and vibrant sound.
Their music has been described as "Ear Candy For The Gods" by Bill Barclay (Director Music at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and Guardian Columnist).
Between them, the lads have played at venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall, The Union Chap...

Our primary school is 50 years old in January 2016 and I am trying to get local, tribute 60's bands to come and give an hour of their time for the afternoon. Our budget is extremely small so I was hoping we could try and come up with a great LITTLE figure! ;) could you let me know if there is anything you can do for us. Thank you very much.
I'm interested in having you play at my wedding which will be at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art on. Ideally, I would like to have the set start at around 10pm with the bad to finish playing at midnight. If someone is able to get back to me by email regarding availability and a quote I would be grateful.

Hi- I am planning to hold a fundraiser country/ folk night. I am looking for a good, up-beat country band with maybe a wee bit Scottish folk thrown in. Usually around £100 people attend. My date is a little flexible.
We're getting married in Glasgow 5 mins from the city centre on the 4th March 2017.
I was hoping to surprise my wife to be with a band to restart the party after the break in the evening for about 30 mins. With such a short set I was hoping for an acoustic set to maximise the surprise.
She loves Mariachi bands, as well as the Mariachi covers of modern songs (like the Dorito adverts). Its a bit of a long shot at this late stage and this might not be possible at all. But was just looking for a quote, as you can imagine planning and paying for a wedding is costly!
The venue is German themed, so a german band may work if mariachi isn't available, if they can do covers.
My name is Azara and I am an events co-ordinator for the UCLan Dental Society. Every year we host an annual ball for the dental school and its staff members. We currently have the theme Havana nights and are looking for a steel band to play on entrance for the guests and throughout the sit down meal which will be roughly between 3-4 hours in total. I wanted to get a quote as too how much this would cost and if you offer any packages that include the steel band playing and entertainment such as limbo and dancing? Feel free to contact me by email or by phone.
A mere thank you probably would not be enough. The way you rocked the night was amazing. Every guest mentioned that the best of the day was the band. We were surprised beyond any measure. What a performance? What music? What connection with the crowd? Fabulous! There is hardly any other word out to describe the performance. Everyone joined in the dance floor. We too, for the first time!
I hope 5 is the top ranking as i can't praise Alan and his Shenanigans Irish Music Duo enough. The music created such a wonderful atmosphere and made it a memorable experience for all the guests, who without exception thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Alan provides a reliable and professional service which I without reservation recommend to anyone.
On behalf of my family I would like to thank Alan for a fantastic evening.
