Rhianwen has played in many prestigious venues and events all over the UK and further afield, including the Royal Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace, Wales Millennium Center, Rio de Janeiro Arts centre etc. Rhianwen has played for Her Majesty the Queen on several occasions, including her birthday, HRH Prince Charles and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Rhianwen has performed with Adele, Bryn Terfel, Florence and the machine and Catrin Finch. She also has orchestral experience, performing as principle of the RCM Philharmonic Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as a soloist at such venues as The Sage- Gateshead, Salvi Harp Showrooms- London and The National Gallery. I am Alice or 'Harpist by the Sea' a harpist and singer who has been playing for over 15 years. I have had the pleasure of playing at many weddings and other events. For weddings I mainly play purely acoustic without singing unless specifically requested otherwise. The price is for the first 1 hour of playing. At a wedding I can play for the ceremony and then perhaps add an hour for the canapes/wedding breakfast. My harp can be amplified and I will bring my small amplifier if required. I also play in 2 duets, with a violin and with a folk/alt band. I sing and compose too and play very interesting and alternative sets to suit pubs and festivals with a repertoire of past gigs to suit (including The great Estate, tropical pressure, tunes in the castle and many local town festivals).
