Our beautiful long room can seat 70 for a ceremony and the drawing room can seat 25. If it is an outdoor ceremony you would like then there are plenty of options; our beautiful river meadow on the banks of the river Avon; the main lawn with the house as the backdrop; the tiered lawn using the terrace as the ceremony stage; or the intimate secret garden. The possibilities are endless! We are not currently licensed to hold civil ceremonies here. You are very welcome to hold humanist ceremonies at Twyning Park (this means doing the legal bit elsewhere).
Large Weddings
Twyning Park is very well suited to large parties as the space is so flexible.
The marquee or tipi or yurt – whatever takes your fancy – can be sited in the beautiful river meadow on the banks of the river Avon or on the main lawn in front of the big red doors of the house.
Both sites provide numerous opportunities and plenty of outdoor space to create a really unique and special reception.
Small Celebrations
Twyning Park is a house that is full of character and beautiful features. The drawing room has a calming feel, beautiful cornicing and detailed plasterwork along with a stunning Adams fireplace. This room is perfect for small intimate receptions or for use as a ceremony room.
In contrast the long room is far simpler in decoration with white walls, sash windows, huge oak beams and doors that open onto the courtyard and terrace. A real blank canvas, this room works well as a ceremony room or reception room and can seat up to 50 people for dinner or 70 for a ceremony.

Homme is licensed for civil ceremonies, and for church weddings there are two options: St. Bartholomew’s Church, which lies on the edge of the Estate at the end of the parkland drive, or the Parish of Yatton & All Saints Church, a lovely country church perched on a hill with stunning views over the surrounding countryside just over 3 miles from Homme House. We can accommodate up to 90 for a wedding breakfast in the house or up to 140 in a lawn marquee, with a maximum of 140 guests at the evening celebrations.

Hidcote Manor Garden is one of England’s most celebrated gardens. It was designed by the horticulturalist Major Lawrence Johnston in the Arts and Crafts style and is arranged as a series of outdoor rooms separated by ‘walls’ of various types of plants. Started in 1907, the garden’s heyday was in the 1930s. Within the garden there are numerous changes of level which contribute to the separation of the rooms. Typical of the Arts and Crafts style, the pathways and steps that run throughout the garden are often narrow and uneven. Surfaces are either gravelled, traditionally paved using Cotswold stone or natural, like grass. It is located in the Cotswolds, high on a hill in a gently undulating landscape with spectacular views across of the Vale of Evesham and beyond. The garden covers 10.5 acres and visitors should allow at least 2.5 hours to go around.
Volunteer guides are on hand throughout the garden for assistance and information. There are three mobility scooters
and one manual wheelchair available for hire free of charge. Visitors can also enjoy the al-fresco Barn Café and plant sales centre close to the car park, or the shop and Winthrop’s Café situated within the garden grounds. These all enjoy step free access

The 172-bed hotel and conference facility is near to the University’s existing conference facilities off Edgbaston Park Road; creating provision for 220 beds overall.
The development also included the regeneration of Garth House, a Grade II* listed building, and Hornton Grange as part of the work to preserve them for future generations. Garth House, an Arts and Crafts house, was built in 1900, and Hornton Grange in 1928. Both buildings form part of the University’s existing conference facilities.
