Weddings are probably the most challenging of events with the different age groups and knowledge of music required. If you are looking for the cheapest, we are probably not for you.
Although we are not the most expensive, we give fantastic value for money.
If you want a top-class quality event and appreciate that this job requires skill and is not something anyone can do.
All of my packages are smart and up to date using a high-quality BOSE Sound System's and superior lighting and laser effects. With all messy looking wires hidden, they will look great at your event and in any photographs taken.
There is a whole range of packages available at different prices. Although I have other DJs that work for me, all Poptop packages are for myself or my DJ Eddy.
We booked DJ Eddy for our wedding a few days ago and couldn’t be happier. Absolutely perfect service from start to finish. The whole booking system and customer portal was brilliant and so easy and convenient to use. As you can imagine, weddings are a little hectic so I didn’t have much time to speak with DJ Eddy but he made the effort to come and greet me, explain what was happening and asked if I was happy with the setup; which I was. He was super polite and friendly and did an amazing job. So many amazing songs were played and he happily took on all requests. Huge huge thank you from myself and my husband!
If you’re looking for an excellent DJ for your event then look no further! We booked Eddy for our wedding reception and honestly could not have been happier with his service. We found the online TRAX song request system easy to use and then Eddy also rang us the week of the wedding to double check the final details so we felt really looked after. Eddy was awesome doing the announcements for our cake cutting and first dance and guests loved giving him requests on the night. Eddy’s set up was seamless and he was both super friendly and professional. From all my research into DJ's TRAX Disco Roadshow stuck out the most. When viewing the online videos you could tell that everyone was enjoying the music they put on, the setup was beautiful and the packages they offer are fantastic!
From the moment Nick setup the party was in full force. He announced our first dance and cutting of our cake and then the party atmosphere was honestly electric! He played lots of the songs that we and the guests chose and then also read the room to see what got people on the dance floor. He was amazing at this as I don't think the dance floor was empty even for a second! Thank you Nick and team for being absolutely incredible, you made our night and we would book you again in a heartbeat

Have used Nick and 'Trax' disco before and was very happy with his service. Although not really a part of the service, Nick goes out of his way to accommodate your event requirements and puts on a great show with, or without music that you can pre-choose. A very good price for an excellent service. Would recommend, and use again if we were in the area in the future.
Not too loud, but loud enough to enjoy each track, the music levels are just right for all to enjoy.

I contacted Nick prior to my party as I particularly wanted to include music for sequence dancing and line dancing. Nick responded promptly to all of my queries and played all the music that i asked for. As well as the dance music we had a lot of 60s songs and many of my guests said how much they enjoyed the music.
Searching around we had found some great reviews for Trax which made us persue them as our wedding DJ
Times were slightly put back due to an incident regarding the bus company we hired. Nick became aware of this and was very accommodating. He endured and we were happy with what was provided and offered if there is anything we need just ask.

Yes I have both Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment that are updated every year. Certificates are provided directly to your venue upon request.
I play most styles and genres of music and update my music every week with all of the new UK releases. I specialize in music from the 50's right through to the '80s.
Yes, requests can be made in advance using my Event Planning System that you will be able to log into once you book with me. In the unlikely event that I don't have your track, I will get it. I have never been caught out yet!
My equipment is not IP rated to be used outside and I do not do outside events unless it is in a professional Marquee with a proper floor and power supply
TRAX EVENT PLANNER/MUSIC
There is an event planner built into my website. This means that you are given your own personal client login to my website where you can make changes to your booking and set a timeline for your party ie what time buffet is served, any speeches or special requirements, etc. It also allows you and your guests to listen to tracks from my vast database and make music requests. This will give me more of an insight into the type of party you want and enable me to plan a great party for you with the music that you want to hear. We can also accept Spotify Playlists just send us a playlist link.
I of course also welcome requests on the night which I can find very quickly as all of my songs are on a hard drive which I can find by typing the first 3 letters of the title or artist. If you do not wish to book requests in advance I can put my request cards on the tables, this always works well as your guests tend to go with the vibe on the day and make some relevant requests.
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE & PAT TESTING
I only use professional Sound & Lighting equipment. All equipment is PAT tested for electrical safety and I have PLI (Public Liability Insurance) to the value of £10 million which is a requirement for me to perform in most hotels and other venues. It also means in the event of an accident I am covered for injury to your guests or damage to the venue which would otherwise fall on your shoulders. Copies of our certificates can be provided directly to your venue upon request.
