We are so grateful to Ealing String Quartet who played so beautifully at our wedding (July 2017). They were professional from the outset, quick to communicate and accommodated all of our music requests. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful their playing was and they definitely added that extra special touch to our drinks reception. We would highly recommend them!

We received so many fantastic comments about these guys when they performed at our wedding this weekend. Everyone, including myself and my husband, were completely blown away by how wonderful they sounded. The whole booking, song selection, payment and on the day logistics were so smooth with Ben and the team. Absolute professionals

A fantastic string quartet with a broad range of lovely classical music. I booked Ealing String Quartet to play the church service and reception of my wedding. Ben was very approachable and happy to tailor the quartet’s repertoire to cover the specific tunes I was after. When the signing of the register took longer than the two tunes anticipated, the quartet seamlessly went into another well-chosen piece unprompted. Ealing String Quartet added a very special touch to my wedding. I would definately book them again. Thank you Ben and team.

Ealing Strings played at our wedding this summer at the Royal Military Acadamy Sandhurst. They played a collection of modern, upbeat songs which sounded truly epic on strings! We also made a request for them to play my husband and I’s favourite song – Africa by Toto, this really did sound incredible and we were overjoyed to hear it played so beautifully! We absolutely loved the fantastic performance from the trio and they Wow’d all of our guests too, who thought it was a beautiful touch during the wedding breakfast. We’d highly recommend Ealing String Quartet! Thank you again, best wishes, Emily & Andrew

FAQs

  • What kind of events do you usually serve?

We are able to play for any events including, Weddings, drink receptions or any corporate event.

  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?

We are an acoustic ensemble so therefore do not require any PA.

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

We are all members of either the Musicians Union or the Incorporated Society of Musicians which provides liability insurance for for us. Certificates are available on request.

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

If the song you are looking for is not on our list, please contact us and we may be able to find it for you or have it arranged.

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

We usually take a 10 minute break in each hour that we play.

  • Are you able to play outside for my drinks reception

We are more than happy to perform outside. As a professional quartet we perform using very fine instruments which may have a combined value of over £100,000. They must be protected from UV rays (Sun) and rain, making outside cover very possibly required. A marquee, awning, large umbrella, extended canopy or the inside of a doorway is preferable. The decision whether to perform outside will be made by their musicians at the time of performance and you agree that their decision will be final. We do not supply cover of any kind.
