The Dart Valley Stompers was formed by Jeremy Huggett in July 2005 with the aim of playing lively, exciting music in the Traditional & New Orleans styles of jazz. It's one of the most popular and busiest bands in the UK regularly performing to capacity audiences at Jazz Clubs & Festivals both home & abroad – in 2017 they “closed” Upton Jazz Festival with a full house & a packed dance floor yelling for more! The band also performs at Weddings, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties, Charity Fundraisers, Jazz Funerals & Corporate Events. As well as performing as a full 6 piece, the band can reduce to a 5 piece, 4 piece, trio or duo depending on the size of venue and to cater for all budgets - they can also perform acoustically as a wandering band to add ambience to any occasion. Based in the South West the band can travel anywhere in the UK and beyond and is guaranteed to get your guests feet tapping & stomping!
