Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band

Brass band comprising of 25 members. Smaller groups available performing a range of music from popular light music, last night at the proms concerts and more serious concert works depending on what is required. We have been in existence since 1838 making us one of the oldest brass bands in the country. We perform around 55 engagements each year playing to a variety of audiences and venues.
We also help other organisations to raise funds ie performing at fund raising events such as church galas, garden parties, full evening concerts and corporate events. We have also performed in a number of stage productions of the play Brassed Off including a sold out 7 performances at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford.
We also have a second band Clifton and Lightcliffe B Band which was originally our junior section and is now made up of younger members and parents they perform throughout the summer months at Church garden parties, galas, Sunday afternoon park concerts.
