Black Stars Kitchen is a dynamic, creative and forward thinking catering company, which was set up by 2 chefs, with over 30 years experience between them, we have worked in a wide spectrum of catering establishments from Michelin Star, fine dining, corporate, events, street food and festival catering. We have a production kitchen where the magic happens.
We also have a permanent outlet in East London that operates 7 days a week. We construct our menus depending on each event, but we are of Ghanaian heritage so some of our signature dishes have a touch of west African influence. Food was out of this world. No expense was spared on the quality of the beef, buns and all the produce. Flavours were amazing and everything cooked to perfection from scratch. Staff so helpful and friendly and will accommodate with what you ask. I highly recommend Black Star Kitchen and you don't need to look elsewhere. I will be booking again for sure.
I was very impressed with the reliability of BSK. They returned my calls promptly and arrived on time. Their menu was varied and all my guests were really impressed with the quality and taste of the food. They were very accommodating and I would most definitely use them again and recommend them.

We had a great experience with Black Star Kitchen. They had a great variety of options in their menu to us to chose from. Les' communication leading up to the event was really clear. They set up in our garden, and were totally self sufficient, only needing 1 extension lead plugged in. Our guests were really happy with the delicious food, and we received loads of compliments about it. Les and his assistant on the night were engaging, friendly and chatty with everyone, and helped make our 'big' birthday really special.

Les and Alex were true professionals. They were extremely accommodating and everyone absolutely loved the burgers! We had a birthday party and BSK set up in the garden and catered for 40 people. Everyone loved the jerk chicken burger and they were able to offer vegetarian and gluten-free options. Highly recommended!

As the host of the party I wanted to hire caterers to take the pressure off. I've never done this before and initially it felt like a gamble.
BSK's communication was fantastic which completely put my mind at ease. We discussed the party set-up and menu requirements to a point where I felt that I could trust them completely.
The menu was flexible and catered for everyone, I have to say the Vegan burgers were incredible. They provided large portions of food using high quality of ingredients. All food was served in takeaway boxes with cutlery which meant that tidying up was a breeze.
On the morning of the party Les and Alex turned up early to set-up and were an incredible team. They were so respectful of the environment that they were working in.
All of our guests commented on how lovely the guys were, service with a smile every time! We received so many comments on how good the food was and what a great idea it was to get caterers in for the party. They were a huge success. There was no way we would have been able to create a feast anywhere as good as the food they produced. We had guests of all ages and they all raved about the quality of the food.
