We are very glad we found Ashley Barnard to photograph our wedding. He was quick to respond to my message, friendly and was very happy do adapt to my vague plans of taking some photos between the civil ceremony and the blessing. He took great photos inside the venues and managed to take some great pictures outside (overcoming some harsh lighting and the very extreme winds of Storm Kathleen). The photos at the church were beautiful and he managed to capture some very special moments. He also included photos I hadn't expected, taking a nice shot of a carved wooden mouse at his pulpit in the church, photos of some of the lovely baking people had brought and the table flowers my friend had arranged - these are some of the details you miss on your wedding day so it was lovely to see them.
He managed to send the photos just after 2 weeks after the wedding, which was well before the estimated time on the website. We've really enjoyed looking through them and it'll help to remember our day for many years to come.

We spent ages looking for a photographer who didn’t charge ridiculous prices but would capture the day well. We saw Ashley as he had photographed another wedding at our venue and we liked the pictures. Right from the moment, we booked he put us at ease and we knew we made the right decision. We had the pre wedding shoot which we enjoyed as it gave us chance to talk through the wedding day as well as Ashley giving us some tips for on the day. On the actual wedding day Ashley and the second photographer arrived at 10am and started capturing moments straight away (we heard the camera before we even realised they were there). They both worked so hard and didn’t stop all day- they left at about 10pm(ish). When we received the online photos a couple of months later we were so pleased with all of them (we had over 900) and then had to choose 40 for our album which was hard. We received the album, memory stick and a canvas and all of them are amazing.
