I was looking quite last minute for a caterer for my wedding in April 23. I came across Matei Baron who's company did posh burgers for our laid-back festival-themed wedding, they were amazing! The food was great, booking was super easy and cost was very reasonable considering travel too.

Chef Baran and his assistants served 20 guests at a birthday party. They arrived in good time and served all of the dishes efficently. They introduced themselves to the guests and left everything clean and tidy when they finished.

Wow where do we start! Absolutely fabulous fabulous fabulous! Matei is the best chef around. Every course superb & service perfect. We didn’t want the night to end. We certainly hope we can have the experience again we would never go elsewhere! Thank you Matei you made the night so special x

I bought the afternoon tea for 2 with prosecco for my sister’s (lockdown) birthday. After a small problem with the delivery guy being unable to find her house, I eventually guided him over the phone and he delivered it successfully. My sister and her husband said it was lovely and would absolutely recommend it.

Matei catered for my husbands 30th Birthday, the food was fabulous and we had an amazing evening. Matei traveled to the place we were staying, cooked us a 5 course menu (explaining each one) and even cleaned up after himself. I would recommend him to everyone, we will be booking him again.

I bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law's birthday and it was fabulous. Prompt delivery and she said the food was fantastic. I was so happy with it, I ordered a second one for my parents who also thought it was wonderful. The poptop site was very easy to use and it was easy to contact Matei and poptop. It was an amazing experience having Matei come and cook for us on my 50th birthday. The food was delicious and well presented. Matei was friendly and entertaining with the kids! Matei catered for a big birthday festival. He communicated throughout the planning stage, coming to the house to meet us, really discussing what it was we'd like on the menu, taking into account any special dietary requirements. On the day itself, Matei and his team arrived early to prepare - everything went really smoothly! We chose to have a BBQ. There was a huge range of food, and everyone loved it! We had the pleasure of welcoming Chef Matei Baran into our home to experience a 5 course tasting menu, and I have to say everything about the evening exceeded our expectations. The food that was prepared for us was to an exceptional standard and we enjoyed trying new dishes and learning about how they had been prepared. The presentation was remarkable and the flavours were incredible.

Fantastic. Very very nice. We got to use our own afternoon tea cake stand. IT was very memorable and unique. We loved it. The only thing that could have been better is that the prosecco was delivered room temperature. Pre-chilled and brought in a cool bag would be preferable.
