Description
Hot Club Gallois are a Welsh group inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Their music evokes the style and elegance of 1930's Paris and draws on the passion and romance of the gypsy Jazz tradition. Their repertoire includes classic Jazz standards, profound ballads, swaying bossas and traditional gypsy waltzes and boleros.
Since their formation the band have played all over the British Isles, thrilling audiences with an irresistible mix of beautiful melodies and dynamic rhythms. Notable performances include: Welsh Proms, Brecon Jazz Festival, Le Quecumbar Jazz Club (London), Upton Jazz Festival and Swansea International Jazz Festival.
Hot Club Gallois have a wealth of experience playing weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, birthdays, banquets, and other special occasions. They provide their own sound equipment and offer high quality musicianship. A perfect accompianment to dinner/drinks then later some exhilarating hot club swing to get your feet moving.

These guys were the second music act of our evening and really helped to gently warm things up after a lovely calm and classical string quartet. I really felt that they read the atmosphere perfectly as the music felt just right for that point in the afternoon/evening. Very good indeed. A+
