We chose the Selfie Pod for our dad's surprise 60th birthday, and it was such a hit! The pictures were fantastic, and Andrew was very accommodating with our requests and understanding what we wanted. The pod itself was easy to use, and we loved the photo quality. We received a guest book and a USB with all the photos, making it easy to keep memories and share them. Just note that the booth doesn’t include a backdrop, but we made our own for under £20 with tinsel curtains and a balloon banner. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience! From the initial booking contact was very good - super responsive and made us feel at ease. They designed the photobooth slip in line with our wedding colour scheme and changed the design following our requests with no issues at all. On the day they set up in the turnaround time (after our wedding breakfast, before the evening started) very professionally with no issues - coordinating with the venue so as not to bother us as the bride and groom which was really appreciated. The equipment was all professional and ran smoothly all night and the operator with the machine was so lovely and accommodating. All the guests loved it! Would highly recommend to other brides and grooms.

Selfie pods are free-standing, open-air style photo booths. Generally, the pods consist of a central unit with a camera, a touch screen, lighting and a printer. All your guests need to do is press start on the screen and pose. The photos are then either printed off or shared digitally via social media, email or airdrop, depending on the type of pod you hire. Some suppliers also provide backdrops and props to give an extra buzz of excitement to your London event.

How many photos can I get?

When you hire a selfie pod in London your guests will get unlimited photos throughout the night. These photos can typically be shared digitally via email, airdrop or to social media. Some suppliers offer printed photos for an additional cost, while others offer two sets of unlimited instant high-quality prints, with one set for your guests to take and another set for your guest book. Many booths also have their own unique ability to create GIFs and boomerangs, and provide virtual props and filters.

Are there any technical restrictions?

Most of the selfie pod suppliers recommend a space of 2m x 1m with a height of 1.5m. However, if you are hiring a pod service with a backdrop and props table, you will need 3m x 3m. All suppliers require a standard 13 amp power supply and need around 1 hour to set up before the event.
