The first Blue Commotion gig in February 2012 was a culmination of a ten-year musical partnership between Zoe Schwarz and guitarist Rob Koral. Through their intense musical journey and compatible desire, they developed a perfect collaboration and empathy, which, when analysed, comes from two completely different starting points. Because of this melting pot of musical diversity, there is a depth and uniqueness to the band's music which is hard to pigeon-hole and categorise.
Into the mix comes the sheer virtuosity of each of the band members who are allowed the freedom to express their musical authority, and stamp their own personal magic to the song writing of Zoe and Rob. A testament to this chemistry is the sheer volume of music coming out of the band, and 'Exposed' will be Blue Commotion's third album in two years.
Zoe's unique, yearning vocal style is blended with Rob's ability to come up with catchy vibrant riffs and musical arran...

At the heart of every Earcandy act is a simple philosophy.
Life isn’t about facts and figures. It’s about feelings. The moments that shape who we are, moments that bring us together. These moments are what we live for.
That’s why our musical team buck the trend and develop our acts from scratch. They are a manifestation of our passion and collective experience in the record industry; each one designed to leave you and your guests speechless.
The result? Acts that redefine what ‘function entertainment’ should be.
Experience Earcandy entertainment and you’ll see what the fuss is about.

It wouldn’t be unfair to say The Crutwell’s have been around a bit (musically speaking, of course). Between them, Andi and Nico have procured recording and publishing deals, penned top UK Chart Hits for the BBC, written and produced for companies such as Fox USA, 19 Entertainment, Decca Records and Universal and toured with likes of The Pogues and The Stranglers… This doth make a fine brew!
Now, their new guitar/violin duo is here to bring you a fantastic set of acoustically reinvented classics, utilising all their experience and swagger to sonically set your night on fire! Bringing both humour and professionalism, these guys are must for any venue that loves great acoustic music. Strictly no backing tracks, The Crutwell’s aren’t just keeping acoustic music live... they are keeping it alive, and God bless em’ for it.
You can book us as solo (acoustic guitar and vocals) or a duo (acoustic guitar, violin and two vocals) or even just the vi...
We are Dr Butler’s Hatstand Medicine Band, a travelling troupe of musicological minstrels, peddling our unique good-time tonic to all four corners of the land. Made from a secret combination of early blues and jazz forms, a sprinkle of ragtime, a dash of hot swing, the essence of sweet spiritual, a pinch of the oldest of old-timey melodies and a teaspoon of Vaudevillian and Music Hall showoffery, all whisked together with the most esoteric of folk rhythms. The result is a surpassingly melodious music which is replete with tones of joy and fulfilment. This harmonic medicine is a natural aid to titillation and is a guaranteed restorer of vitality, vim and vigour.
Allow us present to you our good-time rags and reels, show stoppers and sight stealers; music for foot stomping and toe tickling that joins hearts with flesh whilst invigorating the thinking mind. We stand before you as harbingers of gentility, bearers of ingenuity, possessors of con...

Hi I'm holding a beer festival on 27/28/29 August of Saturday night I'm looking for jazz bands and Sunday night rock. This will be a fundraising event so cost is unfortunately an issue, but at the same time we are looking for some good bands which help make the evening. As we are a hotel room can be made available if they are travelling any distance.
Hi - we are interested in having your band for our wedding which is at Babington House, Babington, Somerset on Thursday 30th June. Interested to start at 6pm for a couple of hours during the drinks reception. Can we please have a clip of the solo option as we have only heard the quartet.
Also could you please let me know how much extra it would be if javier could play the bridal entrance song which will be at 5pm.
Excited to hear from you and see a clip of you perform
I'm getting married at Dillington House in Ilminster on Saturday 1st July 2017. I was wondering how much you would charge to play at the reception? Are you also able to provide a DJ service during your breaks?
I would apprecite it if you are able to reply via email so I have a copy of the quote.
I look foward to hearing from you.
My partner and I are getting married on the 16th September 2017 in Bruton, Somerset.
We would love to have an Irish band at our wedding reception, mainly to keep it lively and get people dancing - but also because I grew up listening to it.
Are you available that weekend and if so could you please let me know the various hire options, costs and how long the sets are?
We're very laid back so I'd like your guidance on set lists etc, but I am keen for some songs that everyone will know (Irish Rover, Tell me ma, maybe some Pogues etc). Is this something you could do?
It would just be for the evening reception, possibly from 6 or 7pm.
Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for your help with organising Mariachi Rey on Saturday 2nd July. They were amazing and so very friendly and accommodating with all of the guests. I would hesitate in recommending both of you in the future.
Just want to say a huge thank you for being part of our wedding day.
When we first contacted you with a list of songs, you blew us away how flexible you were, even the last minute songs we decided upon, you were happy to rehearse and learn these which was truly amazing.
You have such a fantastic voice! We loved your personality, attitude, professionalism and our friends and family have said nothing but positive things about you since our special day.
It was an absolute pleasure and honour to have you.
At last a brief spell of sanity in what has been a whirlwind of the last three weeks. Apologies for my delayed email but I wanted some time on my own to try and put into words the enormous gratitude that I want to express for your part in what was a truly wonderful wedding at Denton Hall. Nothing was ever too much trouble and you made us feel like the 'stars of the show' but also special friends for whom you wanted everything to be just perfect and done the way that we wanted it.
It was so kind of you to allow Amelia to sing with you for our first dance and I feel certain that these are memories that she, and us, will treasure for ever. From the first time that we came to hear you play in Saltaire, we knew that you were going to make our evening reception very special and entertaining across the varied age ranges of our guests. Everyone commented on how fantastic you were and, whether people were up on the dance floor or listening from a comfy armchair, they all agreed that nothing beats the entertainment of a live band. You are three extremely talented musicians who we feel very privileged to have had as part of our wedding celebrations.
There are not the words to adequately thank you enough for your part in a truly memorable day. We will keep an eye on your events calendar and hope that our paths cross again in the not too distant future. We wish you every success in the future and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you for future bookings.
