We are a 2-piece playing high-energy klezmer and eastern European folk with the occasional gypsy jazz standard thrown in. We can cater for all moods - from high-energy dancing to nice background acoustic sets. We have a wide-ranging klezmer repertoire through performing the genre over many years but if you have any requests that aren't in our standard set list we will look at adding them.

About supplier

We are brothers from Somerset who grew up in a musical household. We both studied music in the north of England with Oscar studying violin at RNCM and Barney studying piano at LCM. Over the years we have played in various bands of all styles from classical to rock, jazz to folk and tango to klezmer!

Outstanding performance by Josie. Considering the present circumstances we are now all enduring, she made such a tremendous effort to ensure everything was as it should be. Her range of music is incredible and it suited the whole ambience for the evening. I cannot thank Josie enough for the extreme lengths that she went to for our enjoyment.

Newick Folk played at our wedding and they were brilliant! Highly recommended. Karn from the band responded so quickly, everything was done smoothly, they were patient, personable and made our night so special. The band tailored their music to our taste and event, and it really was fantastic. Brilliant music and everyone was raving! I wish I could do it all over again and have them play for us again!

What an amazing time we had dancing to the Stomping Boondocks. They guys were great from start to finish and made sure the party will be one everyone remembers. Communication from start to finish was excellent and I highly recommend these guys should you want to get your guests up on the floor.

A great bunch of lads who made our wedding reception swing. Their set was exactly what we wanted and set exactly the right atmosphere. They even let me take the mic for 2 songs. Which they probably regretted within seconds! A great choice for any kind of party.

"We were delighted with Amycrofters, whom we had booked to play music (inluding Scottish country Dance tunes) at the wedding of Michael Paice and Vicky Newton. (Michael is Margaret's son.) There was to be no dancing - the music was to entertain guests during the period after the marriage ceremony while photographs were be taken and guests were able to mingle and talk to friends.
