There’s so much going on at Watergate Bay throughout the year. From live music and surfing to Thundercat racing and the iconic Polo on the Beach, our beach events calendar is full of great sport, drama and entertainment.
In the hotel we host private events and parties in our Event Space. The Event Space is an oak-floored room with timber panelled walls and six metre floor to ceiling glass doors that open out onto a cliff top terrace, boasting spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean.

This stunning, light filled space will comfortably seat 40 for a wedding ceremony, private dinner, or conference. It has been created with the same tactile, beach house design as the rest of the hotel. It balances space and intimacy with a simplicity that enables guests to create their own style.

A gorgeous, two-mile long, sandy beach is the stunning backdrop for your whole day. Take your vows in the hotel surrounded by your family and friends and panoramic sea views, then celebrate with delicious food and drink in Zacry’s and a party in the Event Space.

We don’t have an itinerary or package for your wedding, instead our dedicated wedding planner and team work with you to create your own unique event. Our weddings are intimate, for a maximum of 40 people, or exclusive – you have the whole hotel and team at your disposal. For cake, we tip our hats to preferred local supplier Peboryon.
