The Barn:

A totally new state of the art entertainment and business venue set within our private, secluded location and surrounded by the backdrop of lovingly tendered fields and gardens. This recently restored 18th century Barn brings something truly inspirational to the event world. The restoration has given us the opportunity to keep many of the original features that add to an authentic and magical atmosphere.

This diverse and flexible space includes a mezzanine floor, accessed by a dramatic dual staircase, luxurious en-suite dressing room, male and female washrooms, disabled bathroom, sustainable underfloor heating, log burning stove, atmospheric lighting and in-house music and PA system. With a west facing astro-turfed terrace that gives you the longest of those balmy summer nights, outside lighting and fire pit all of which can be tailored to your specific occasion or function.

PLACE TO STAY

There has been a working water mill here since the 16th century in its own unique setting. The Mill pond and cascading waterfall, overlooking ancient woodland and rolling landscape makes for a truly romantic backdrop.

Our newly renovated Mill House is set in over 4 acres of private grounds with breath taking views from the south facing Terrace of the gardens and pond. The entire house is available for accommodation, consisting of 2 master suites with bathrooms, one with a balcony; 3 double bedrooms with on-suite shower rooms; Guest lounge with fireplace; French windows onto Terrace; Kitchen, Dining Room, Garden Conservatory; Downstairs W/C and Entrance Hall. Available as a 3, 5 or 7 day package.

STROLL AROUND HISTORY

Crossing the ancient stone bridge over the moat brings you to our stunning gardens surrounding the old Hall. Nearly thirty years ago this area did not resemble anything like you will see today. Lovingly cultivated and tendered into a series of formal garden rooms showing an array of all year round trees and shrubs, including the awe inspiring knot garden, all combine to make this the perfect site for outdoor civil ceremonies and photographic opportunities.

GREAT OUTDOORS

Surrounding Holford are arable food growing fields; we are real foodies that’s why we have chosen to work with one of the best catering companies in the UK for that farm to fork experience. Alongside are 35 acres of old woodland, a bubbling trout stream, horses grazing in their paddocks, fantastic nature trail walks, all of which add to the experience of this wonderful setting.
