Info about The Stag at Redhill
Over 500 years old, the Stag is a historic coach house with an intriguing past. Formerly the court house and town prison of Stratford – upon – Avon, only the dastardliest of criminals were housed here. While the tales remain, the hotel has recently been bought and refurbished by independent family brewer, Wadworth and offers a warm welcome.
The Stag retains its original character and features throughout with exposed beams and flagstone floors and guests can admire the rich history whilst enjoying a visit to this traditional English pub. There are open fires in the winter and a beautiful courtyard to seek out the sunshine in the summer. Home cooked food is served every day and features pub classics alongside seasonal specials and a Coeliac UK accredited gluten free menu, plus traditional roasts on a Sunday. You can relax and stay in one of the nine en-suite comfortable, elegant rooms.
The Court Room at The Stag is also a great venue for private dining, conferences or a small intimate wedding reception.
