Info about Sibton Park
The first thing you see, as you drive towards Sibton Park, is a semi-circle of tall Ionic columns welcoming you to the manor.
Heavy boots crunch over grey gravel to reach the dramatic front of house.
This Georgian country house is the luxurious heart of the estate, designed by the celebrated architect Decimus Burton, and ready to be your home-from-home for the trip.
Staff welcome you in, bags are forgotten about and guests run through the entrance to check out the large rooms, soft beds, cosy cinema room and roll top baths.
The rest of your guests are scattered around the cottages, barns and stunning farmhouses around the estate. They divide up bedrooms, padding across heated floors to claim their en suite, and making cups of tea in modern kitchens.
The lucky head go off into the parkland (5,000 acres they’re told) and find Hex Cottage, the spot for romance. Electricity-free, this is where long chats are had by candlelight.
Bird enthusiasts in your party head out to discover over 100 different species. They trek from meadow to meadow looking for the Reed Warbler and meeting a host of other creatures on the way. Meanwhile the estate cooks start the preparation for this evening’s feast for 24.
They’ll dine under the stars and then retreat to the Orangery to dance into the night.
