The Ormesby Estate, once owned by the Pennyman family, is one of few places in Middlesbrough with acres of open space. At the heart of the estate, situated in 200 acres of countryside, lies the house, filled with charm and character - the most picture-perfect venue to marry.

The house is nestled in its own enchanting gardens, dreamlike, elegant and filled with an array of gorgeous flowers. Photograph opportunities are uninterrupted, with wonderful views across Teesside and towards the iconic Transporter Bridge.

Civil Ceremonies
The Entrance Hall was once used by the Pennymans to entertain their guests before fabulous dinner parties. Imagine making that entrance yourself into the grandeur of the hall, your guests lining the way and your loved one waiting in the arches. Your vows take place in the historic house, oozing authenticity and antiquity.

The Entrance Hall is licenced for civil ceremonies and partnerships for up to 80 guests.
