Haddon House

Haddon has been described by Simon Jenkins as ‘one of the most perfect houses to survive from the middle ages’ and certainly the setting is dreamy and brings to mind fairy tales with happily ever after endings. This will be the first year that we shall hold civil ceremonies at the hall, as we have recently been granted licences for the solemnization of marriage in the Elizabethan Long gallery overlooking the walled gardens and the beautifully panelled Tudor parlour, adjacent to the magnificent banqueting hall. We have a designated team to assist with the planning of your event at Haddon and we have compiled an excellent team of outside consultants whose expertise will make your ceremony beautiful and memorable. You are welcome to discuss using the Tudor gardens designed by celebrated landscape designer Arne Maynard for champagne and canapés after the ceremony or why not be driven in a vintage car to our award winning hotel, The Peacock at Rowsley for your celebration lunch or dinner.
