In over 180 years of service, we have played host to members of the Royal Family, Prime Ministers, members of parliament and business leaders of the day.

From our sweeping staircases and eclectic art collection to the sounds of the Royal Household Cavalry passing by, the house is undoubtedly a home for the senses.

With our unique painted ceiling in the Lecture Room to the stunning views of London from the Mall Room and The Wolfson Room, all of the spaces offer their very own sensory experience. As residents of Carlton House Terrace, we can also hire out the secluded garden square at the front of the building – which makes the perfect setting for your reception and photographs.

Stepping into this stunning venue from the hustle and bustle of London is like stepping into another time. The grandeur of the Entrance Hall is undeniable. With a three- flight black marble staircase, sweeping up in front of you and grand corniced ceilings above, you know immediately that this building is something special, steeped in history with a story to tell. The Entrance Hall, with its beautiful black and white tiled floor is perfect for a drinks reception or even dancing at a wedding.

The Entrance and Lobby to No. 11 Carlton House Terrace offers classic English beauty, very different in style to No.10. Decorated in Wedgwood blue with high ceilings and a period fireplace, this space has a warm atmosphere. The carpeted staircase, leading to the Gallery on the 1st floor splits into two return wings with beautiful floral balustrades. A perfect space for an evening reception or wedding photos.
