Recent review: Wednesday Nights in the Chagford Inn becomes a whole lot more fun thanks to Lisa and her friends playing their special style of Klezmer and gypsy music. Lisa on violin with Basil the accordionist played some great music which made you want to leap up and dance balanced by some haunting slower pieces. The guitarist provided excellent support, as did the ’basso continuo’ from the accordionist's left hand using the whole instrument to boost the sound. Sparkling and precise music - a real joy!

My family are Greek, so at the wedding, during the band's break, we thought we would play a CD of some Greek music and dance to it. We couldn't get the CD to work but the band had figured out the tune, so, during their break they played it for us. which was just amazing. We are still so thankful to them! Natasha and I would like to thank you personally for how amazing you were that night and for making the night so personal and memorable for us. Thank you!"

Recent review: We hired the Stomping Boondocks for our wedding reception and they were absolutely fantastic! Most of the guests had never done a ceilidh before but all of them were raving about it after the event. Very responsive with communication before the event also.

Recent review: Thank you so much for being able to accommodate us on the wedding of my son! What with atrocious weather causing extensive flooding that weekend and having to postpone the wedding from the Saturday night until the Sunday, we were more than grateful that the band was still willing and able to perform on the Sunday. Great music and excellent calling made the evening, with all participants thoroughly enjoying themselves - sometimes with a little over enthusiasm! I highly recommend this band to any future clients booking. The band were more than helpful - especially Jennie with all my questions and the band on the day were superb. Recent review: We booked Blazing Saddles for my birthday barn dance and they were brilliant. We only had a duo with Tim and Debby which worked out perfectly. The music was excellent and Debby is a great caller who managed to get almost all the guests on the floor to take part in the dancing and, everyone had a great time. Debby was also easy to communicate with and very helpful during the planning stages.
