Zuzanna is a very talented musician. She showed great communication in the lead up to the event and conducted herself very professionally throughout the evening. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed her music.

"If you are looking for a harpist for your wedding (or any other event) Zuzanna is your gal!

She is incredibly talented, professional and accommodating, and such a lovely person.

Despite her already very broad repertoire she offered to learn additional pieces of our choice, and on the day she was absolutely brilliant, helping to create a truly magical atmosphere during our ceremony and drinks reception.

We highly recommend Zuzanna!"

"Zuzanna was the harpist at our wedding in July 2018. From my first contact with Zuzanna she was brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble and she spoke with us over the phone and through emails to advise us upon our options for song choices etc.

She learnt two new songs that we requested and played them and the rest of her repertoire absolutely beautifully! All of our guests commented on how fabulous the music was.

I can't recommend her highly enough for whatever event you are considering. A truly lovely person and a fantastically talented harp player."

  • How long do you play for?
I normally perform up to 3 sets of music 45-60 mins each.
  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?
I perform on acoustic harp, and for most average-sized ceremonies and drinks receptions you won’t need me to be amplified. If you are concerned about noise levels, you may want to consider booking me as part of a duo with another instrument, such as flute or violin.
  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
I do have Public Liability Insurance as a full member of Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM). My equipment is completely acoustic and doesn't requite PAT test.
  • How much space do you require?
Pedal (concert) harp needs an area of 2m x 3m, lever harp requires about 2m x 2m.
  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?
I am always happy to add new pieces to my repertoire. Please let me know at least one month before the ceremony about any special requests to allow the time for me to purchase and learn the music.
  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?
I normally take a break after 45-60 mins of playing. Depending on the number and length of sets, the breaks are between 10 and 20 mins long.
  • Can you play outside?
Yes, providing there is suitable protection against sun and it is not too cold. I also need a flat, dry surface to position the harp on (not gravel or grass). Additional fees may apply.
  • What harp do you play?
For weddings, I use either a pedal harp (pictured) or a smaller harp with levers, also known as clarsach. Generally speaking, modern repertoire works better on the pedal harp whilst clarsach is more suitable for traditional songs. However, the latter requires less space which makes it more suitable for smaller venues. If you expect many guests, I would advise to choose a pedal harp as the sound of the bigger instrument will carry better.
  • Can you move from one area to another during a wedding day?
Yes - please let me know in advance and allow enough time to move the harp. In most situations I am happy to do this on my own, however I may need help from staff at the venue if there are many stairs on the way and no lifts in the building. Additional charges may apply if I am required to drive to another venue.
